| Hi everyone. Here are my first couple of attempts at painting human Priests. These are in support of this new article. It's a Mordheim gaming aid for using Priests. This is my Priest of Morr. And this is my Mariner-Priest of Manann. I used some different techniques to my normal style of painting flesh. Also my core palette of colours has now been officially expanded to include teal after painting the bluey-green robes on the Manannan clergyman. I look forward to finding loads more miniatures to paint teal! As a basis for the conversions, I chose both miniatures from the Warhammer 40K range. Thanks to Bob Whetton for photographing the miniatures. Regards, Werekin

| These look terrific! I have, as you allready know, been waiting eagerly for this thread to show up, and I plan to participate my self, as soon as I get some free time to paint my own stuff and not just our club project. The Morr priest is my favourite and I will plagiate it without feeling any sort of shame what so ever | |

| CONGRATULATIONS...it seems limiting one's palette has become rather chic; it's good to see someone expanding theirs. Both of the Holy Guys look TERRIFIC... the skin tones & the staff on the Priest of Morr are especially nice. VERY WELL DONE! | |

| Can't wait to be upstaged by the amazing talent on this forum. The finished Mordheim gaming aid for Priests of the Empire is now live here. It's been an incredible ride. I've learned so much about Warhammer religion while researching the article. As a result of many hours of study I've been able to pour a massive amount of factual detail into the download. I hope everyone finds a description which captures their imagination! Regards, Werekin | |

| Splendid stuff, Werekin! The conversions look seemless, and the painting confers some great atmosphere. Good colour choices as well! | |

| @Drayven - I think that turkey-vulture came off the Corpse cart sprue. Frogprince gave him to me!
@Pyyr - Nice pair of holy warriors! Great set of teeth on the wolf friend, darn shame it's not a Citadel critter!

| Hehe, well I am collecting bits and pieces, and have some figures in mind for my priestly project, however, as it is right now, I got to concentrate on building pirate stuff for our upcoming gaming meet 17 June here in Stockholm. We have borrowed a theatre where we will be gaming a full weekend, a whole bunch of us. But... small things are being done to the priests hehe | |

Somebody please escort this unlicensed Sigmarite heathen to the WiP section... Hey hey I could be one of those 'I leave the bases black' guys... I'm not... look the allure of posting a priest overcame my sense of forum law... I admit I am a bad person.

| There are a fair number of quite proficient painters who simply not do anything with the bases on their minis...it's a matter of taste or lack thereof as to how one does their basing or not. Ergo, an otherwise finished mini with an plain black base is acceptable in the Gallery....having a W.I.P. photos with a completed piece works also That said it is a COOL, WELL PAINTED mini. Since you are not a black base Guy, simply an EVIL PERSON, perhaps you could put up another set of photos as a before & after thingy, when you finish the base. Otherwise, WELL DONE! | |

| Finally got my flatmate to make photos of my witchhunters with her bad-ass camera. This is the priest: Ment to be looked upon from above, it is now too bright under the cowl, but you get the idea. | |

| Yay, first miniature picture ever, and then in a thread where every other person's painting skills are leagues above mine. Nevertheless, I like the priest model (from Warlord Games' Pike & Shotte range, if you are interested - I think he would make a nice servant of Verena's; and believe me, he looks better from the usual two feet to tabletop distance ), I like the priest article (good work there, Stu!), so here we are: /Edit: And yes, I am one of those who like the bases black. | |
