Ok here comes a major update because after finishing the rework (switch to new nice round bases, adding some details etc.) on the first 6 painted pit fighters (more than 8 years old) i decided to rework the bases of the above shown models too.

So i can now show you 11 pit fighters in Roman style:

I decided myself for a pit king (orc style):

SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15112

SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15113

SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15114

and for two pit fighter veterans (both orc style):
#1

SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15090

SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15091

#2:
SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15095

SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15096

Abou the slayer i need to think which of my minis i will use.

Ok further 3 pit fighters (two orc style, 1 empire style):

#1:
SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15108

SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15109

#2:

SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15110

SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15111

#3:

SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15118

SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15119

5 pursuer (4 skink style, 1 witch elf style:

#1: (formerly the pit king with war chain)

SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15097

SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15099

#2:
SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15100

SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15101

#3:

SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15102

SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15103

#4:

SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15115

SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15116

#5:

SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15093

SerialMoMs Pit Fighters SDC15094

So thats it. The next decision will be the slayer decision. Maybe i will search for a nice ogre model.

I hope you like the bases in this style too. I tried some different styles and this one i liked most. On some pictures you will see some of the white glue which was not dry as i made the pictures.

Have fun!

Yeah baby yeah! Thats more i like it! Great job on those bases, especially the marble style rocks, and of course the grasthing, and not to forget the minis, great choice! I would suggest to bring the one with the chain into a hero status to start with, it is a far to nice modell to make him a henchman, grets, floedebolle

he mommy, i think you´ll really get a lot of problems trying to get your ogre suited for the inner of a house. Tja, if nothing helps, then you´ll have to remove his lovely piece of rock, we´ll see.

Nice warband!

I like your model selection - what range(s) are they from? They look like they're probably mostly historicals, but I don't recognize any off the top of my head.

The ogre turned out very well. The big rock may give him some trouble when trying to get inside of buildings, but I'm sure it's something you can work around if you want to.

Any plans to add a slayer to the bunch?

Thanks,

Most of them are from Blacktree Design and and wargames foubdry.

The ogre is from Hasslefree.

I have several slayers available. I think a Doomseeker will fit very well.

The big base for the ogre is a problem, especialy if you want to use the pitfighter rule, which only works inside of buildings.

But he looks so nice on this base.

I will think about t and wait for some more comments.
