| Hello everyone im a 22 year old college student from australia looking to get back into the great game that is Mordheim I havent had a look in for around 4 years (not much has changed) I was extensively involved for about 3 years in the game around 6 years ago now but studies and travel have kept me away. I used to be a moderator (MOD xiconia) on the old specialist game forums. My extensive knowledge of the game has dwindled however im hoping that it will all come back to be quickly!
I have a Witch hunter warband (picks and chooses form about 20 models most converted) and rumours mercenary warbands and finally a cultist warband.
At the moment im looking at either starting up and skaven or dark elf force.
My one question to readers of this is Whats the state of Mordheim, in particular NSW? are there still clubs and communities going stron
Look forward to meeting and talking to you all

| Well, I don't exactly live near you... but we play fairly regularly still. Maybe a little less now since a couple of our regulars are recently married and one of them now has a snotling. There are some interesting fan-made campaigns out there, although my group generally plays in Mordheim.
At any rate, welcome back to the game, and to Tom's Boring Mordheim forum.

| Welcome! Mordheim isn't super popular these days, but it still has a pretty decent following. It's not going to be as easy to find someone to play as the bigger games, but I bet you could convince some people to play with you. | |

You take that back! Haha, well, I'm talking pure numbers in terms of players. It's got it's following and it's an excellent game.... there just aren't as many players as a lot of the other games sadly.

| Good to hear from you guys
At the moment im working on a 3 wave NIght of the dead like Mordheim campaign. Basically the warbands start of in the middle and waves of zombies come at them (old undead army had like 120) when they kill a zombie it just respawns at table edge again and a necromancer spawn on turn 3 and killing him finishes the wave. Progressive waves introduce new zombie types (dire hounds, abominations) all sorts Need to pay test it a bit! work on new elements keep you up to date
Agree with the quality of quantity i used to go to the newcastle games workshop and get people to build warbands out of there warhammer models, this never ended well much cheating, whinging and QQ'n! Living in country town at the moment for uni but in holidays il see what i can find
Happy hunting | |

| The scenario sounds quite interesting - hopefully you will post it. You can never have enough waves-of-undead scenarios. We tend to play collaborative games and campaigns these days, and your scenarios sounds like it could be played collaboratively. If you go here: http://hobbyblog.wargameweaver.com/mordheimThere are three undead-based scenarios (haven't played the last one myself, though). Yours sounds like another different take. OK, Svenn - I won't beat you with a red whippy stick since you clarified. | |
