RPG help find a mini

Hey all looking for some help finding a mini for a friends follow on fantasy RPG game (pen and paper style)

ok character concept is based loosly on Warders - for those of you that have read the outstanding The Wheel of Time books by robert jordan you know what i mean for those that dont well ..

The Swords men without equal they wear very little to no armour and all weild 1 or 2 handed blades ( from how i imagined the book explained very similar in style to a katana) but so long as its a sword it shouldnt matter i can always fix that ( i am looking for something with a lot of detail and if any one knows of any nice models that loosly fit please link them here for me to look at many thanks guys and gals)

Little to no armour, eh?

My suggestion would be to get your hands on a mordheim high elf mage hired sword mini and clip his hand with staff off and replace with a sword fitting what your character is rocking.

I think the Elf Mage is a good idea. As a sword, you could use a Dark Elf Executioner sword, they are long and slender and do look special.

I have read a couple of the books as well and think it could look like a Warder.

It's a Mordheim elf mini... don't know the name though (bought used).

Daaaaaaaamn, Anuer the sword of twilight, hardcore and stupidly expensive DP kind of a waste of crowns, too, since he'll only fight for you once then piss off with your 150 crowns.

Sounds about right. I guess he would not fight for/with my Greenskins for any amount of crowns, anyways. Great thanks for revealing his name.

hey all thanks for your replies and yeah aenur could have worked out great turns out they need me to play more of a tank then anything so gone for a heavy clad knight , will be purchasing some of Rackams pre- painted stuff to fill in for it

Hey Martin,

I've got a few COOL sites; keeping up with the craft is almost a hobby in & of itself. There are JUST SO MANY really great mini makers. The OTHER Forum in my life: www.wyrd-games.net in addition to selling some EXCEPTIONALLY nice minis, bases, & accessories is a great source of news on what's going down in the Miniverse. The Forumites there are ALMOST as friendly & COOL as the TBMF crew, although a heavier percentage of pure painters & collector types.

Let me know what you're into & I'll see if I can come up with a site for you.
