Hi all,
When does the extra movement from Leap get applied, specifically during a Charge? Our group had a disagreement over whether it's strictly as mentioned in the text ("...Charge and Leap"), since it wouldn't make sense if you didn't already have enough MV to Charge before adding the extra from Leap - you would've already failed the Charge. So we allowed "Leap then Charge", which allows the model to Leap out from behind total cover, and then Charge a previously unseen opponent.
BUT! From the few existing threads on here, it seems people play it as you add the +d6" Leap movement into your movement allowance for the Charge (or Walk, Run - whatever), conceptually meaning that at some point during the model's Charge, it does a Leap (so as to avoid Intercepting models, or to get a Diving Charge off, or cross a gap, w.h.y.). Doing it this way would NOT allow a model to Leap out of cover and then Charge, right? Since LOS isn't available at the beginning.
Any consensus about how to play it?
Thanks!
