| Looks really good. I noticed some things i´d like to ask / comment on: I first thought this was a dark elf cult, but later i saw that the mistress at least is human. The equipment and the high iniative still scream dark elf at me...perhaps you could clarify the idea behind the warband? Assassin: He looks really strong (too strong i think, XP is way too low for his statline) and i like the hidden rule a lot. I am not sure if his advantages are balanced by the fact that he can not search for wyrdstone or lead the warband. A definite case for playtesting. Cultists: A basic human with +1 initiative and -2 leadership for 20 GC seems to be balanced at first glance, but since ini is much more useful (unless you fight against undead) maybe 25 GC would be better? Playthings: At 35 GC they look balanced and remind me a lot of the darksouls I am undecided about the slavers / slaves for your pleasure rules. While they fit the fluff to perfection they could potentially give you a lot of extra XPs for your heroes and unbalance the game in the long run. Maybe you should limit this in some way, e.g. make it a max of 1 extra XP per game per warband. I hope this helps a bit. How did they do during playtesting? | |

| Looks pretty good. Personally, I'd make the Mistress the spellcaster, and have 0-3 Devoted. Seems cleaner to me.
Steel Whip: Isn't it normally 15gc? That could be intentional, but just making sure.

| Ok... sounds really good so far. You got me hooked Yorik. I like all your ideas for the warband as they really scream Slaanesh (at least to me). The name "Playthings" is brilliant! Reminds me of the Vampire: The Masquerade jargon, where humans are "juicebags" or "playthings" depending on what the unliving plan to do with them. If you need a more Mordheimish Font for your warband list (which I do highly recommend) try Hans Fraktur (hosted by Ashton). If this link does not work try downloading it here. The assassin is a definite case for playtesting. Al though the rules sound very good to me, it would be very intersting to see it in action. Also, maybe "hidden" should be changed to something like "Disguised", as the former suggests a "scout-like" behaviour when in fact the assassin just "looks like" another guy before he reveals himself. All the other rules make a lot of sense to me. They look ballanced as far as i can see. How did it go with playtesting? [EDIT]: Could you just explain the Endless Torment spell please? I don't seem to get it... _________________ | |

| Yay, people like my warband. thx for the kind words. First things first: what i uploaded was an old version of the list(because i had some trouble with uploading the file), there's been some change with the slave-taking rules. In fact, almost all changes since the initial draft have been made to the slave-taking rules. This is the up-to-date version: http://uploaded.to/?id=9dwyttThe price for the cultists was wrong also, they are supposed to be 25 gc. The list has been written for my roommate who loves the dark prince, i took the basic idea and some of the stats from the dark elf cult of slaanesh list of the GW summer campaign of 2004, but changed the stats so the models are humans(with a graceful touch) since there are no dark elves in mordheim. The assassin is really strong, yes, but 30 gc more expensive than the possessed, but has only T3 and a single wound, which makes him really frail for 120 gc + weapons. That being said: in the first campaign we used the cult in, the assassin died in the 2nd game, in the second campaign the cult-player didn't take him again, since he is way too frail. So there isn't much playtesting for it i'm afraid. The main reason why i included the assassin was to limit the amount of Devoted the player can take. That's also the reason why i have a leader and a sorcerer(i like that arrangement more, since it frees the leader up to take non-spell skills and there are two heros you really don't want to loose). And i like "disguise", i changed that, thx. I am pretty sure the steel whip in the living rulebook is 10 gc, if it's 15 gc i'll change that. All spells have been stolen from Letters of the Damned #2, i only changed the wording(Enchantress instead of shaman). The daemonette rules are from an old Town Cryer. Tom: Thx for the font, i was looking for that. Btw: any thoughts on the tormentor? | |

| I am new to using this form of file hosting, so maybe someone can help clarify something for me. I am trying to download these rules; however, everytime I click on the download button it rests the timer and I get another pop-up window. Any advice? | |

| Hi embitteredsoul,
After the timer runs out and you click DOWNLOAD, you should get a pop up prompt that allows you to download the file. I am using Firefox and it works without problems. Maybe just give it a little time before the pop up appears. This sometimes takes up to 30 secs. _________________
