| Hello everyone, Been watching for quite a while. Thought it was time to finally post. Two years ago I purchased a 3D printer and started playing with CAD software. The first buildings had flaws. But over time, I was able to produce what I think are some pretty decent buildings. To date, I have designed and printed over 20 buildings, along with about a dozen accessories (ladders, wells, monuments, etc). Below are pictures of a few of the pieces. A couple more posts coming with more. I would definitely like to know what people think. Doc | |

| One feature about the designs is the ability to separate the floors to make it easier to move models within. You can see this in the below pictures. Definitely want to hear what you think. Thanks Doc | |

| They do look SPLENDID. They also look like they would be easily modified. VERY NICELY DONE! | |

| Well done! Every time I see threads like this I get a little closer to buying a 3D printer. | |

| That's really nice work! Those look like solid, well-designed pieces -- both attractive & practical for gameplay. Well done! | |

| Oh wow these are super awesome! I got a 3d printer from a friend ages back and never got around to using it (lack of laptop and proper space for it doesn't help). This is definitely the sort of thing its super cool for though. How difficult was it to learn and create the buildings? | |

| 3D printing really is great. A lot of time was spent learning the CAD software, and then visualizing the building. My first designs were very different. They didn't print well, and just didn't look right in the end. Then I developed this brick based design and everything fell into place. It has been a blast, but also quite the time sink. I have probably spent over 1000 hours with the CAD software, and about 1200 hours of actual printer time. However, the results are really functional buildings that are also very durable. It has been a lot of fun. | |
