| Thanks gents! _________________________________________________________________________________ To Be a Pyrate King--Mule TrainThis week it was just Chris and I again. Chris is an expert at experience mining, so he was low warband again... He rolled Mule Train, which is one of those curious scenarios that dictate that the low warband is the defender. Despite the number of heroes with shooting skills, crossbows and an experienced Tilean Marksman, Chris remains terrified of the Big Game Hunter and his long rifle... so the Estalians ambushed the Mule Train at night, deep in the jungle. There was a good moon out though so the Estalians just had to close 10 inches before they could attack... So the Estalians started bumbling through the jungle, listening to the sounds of mules running amok through the Sartosan lines (Chris always releases his mules...) Then in Chris' second turn disaster struck! The jungle erupted in roars and screams as a battle royal between a Stegadon and a Carnosaur rolled over the Sartosans. Most of the Sartosans held their ground, but the Estalians took fright at the sounds of carnage and many fled into the night. More and more Estalians fled even as the battle literally rolled over Sartosans and mules (killing no one.) Eventually the Stegadon killed the Carnosaur and trotted back into the jungle. The Sartosans and Estalians exchanged 5 blunderbuss blasts (for no loss on either side...) But the Estalians were broken. The Estalians held on until the one mule they had captured could be led off the table (by a maxed out henchman...) Then they fled with like 8 models off the table. The Sartosans had 3 warriors out of action, none died. The Sartosans gain +1 underdog bonus and find a cache of food worth 3 gc. The Sartosans find the Friendly Merchant to trade with. The Estalians lost Mad Edric II (since I had 2 models actually out of action, one had to die...). The one mule led into captivity yielded 65 gold, heavy armor, 2 swords and 2 shields and one helmet. Not a bad haul. The Estalians also rescued a castaway (who unfortunately was worth more on the rowers block than as a warrior...). The Estalians found another Cheating Merchant... Oh well. Next week is likely to by still in the jungles and on the seas... | |

| There is the saving grace that no pictures means no criticism of unpainted minis. Did you actually have dinosaur models? | |

Oh ye of little faith! In the olden days I would have included the stock photo I had Mr L take for such circumstances (he always seems to be gone or distracted when the big guys hit the table and Chris only takes photos of cats), but, alas photobucket has deleted those photos, so I must suffer the slings of un-believers. Such is the world. On another note, the Clash of Titans event is the 66 event for my jungle Random Happenings for Karribean campaigns. It has been the 66 event for years and has never been rolled. This year we have rolled 66 events three weeks running (even if one of them got miss-read into a volcanic eruption... and one of them happened in Torktuga where it IS a volcano erupting.)

For one of the orc battles, didn't you have about four giants clobbering each other & everything else, all fully represented in the game? So I believe you. I believe in Von Kurst.

| Obviously a man of discernment and superior character _________________________________________________________________________________ To be a Pyrate King--The Fog of WarMr. L returned, but Kevin is still busy with school. Thus three pyrate warbands wandered into a fog shrouded valley... Mab's Crew entered the valley from the south, seemingly unaware that the Bay Watch and des Hombres occupied the heights to the east and west... The first thing that happened was Mab's Crew failed a curse roll and ended up suffering Bad Omens (which didn't have much affect) THEN a patch of jungle caught fire next to des Hombres. And then the fire when out. That was quick. The Bay Watch's fire team overlook Mab's advance...but its foggy on the valley floor and they actually can't see a thing. [That counter is the Big Game Hunter's lone trap, which took a wound off one of Chris' heroes...] Mab's crew angle away from the Watch's perch toward des HombresContact. Black Mab orders her crew to counter attack after surviving a blunderbuss blast from Gomez y Gomez. (Hit 5 knocked 2 down, stunned one. Took Mab's Lucky Charm.) Black Gomez firing Interlude: The Bay Watch think to sacrifice a swab to draw out the Estalians. The Trap...mixed results: the blunderbuss took 2 Lucky Charms. Fransico took out the model that attacked him, and both Rodrigo and Haji fall to the counter charge (that you can't see in this photo). Then the Estalians charge! Almah and Capitain de Guzman dispatch their victim, but that git with a blunderbuss is WS6, T4 and Al Bobo and Fransico bounce off of him... And things go poorly for the Estalians from then on... Here Al Bobo and Fransico are all that remain of the brave charge. (Almah is still standing just out of position to help.) Meanwhile Gomez y Gomez and his friends get into all kinds of trouble with Mab's Crew: Enrico, the maxed out gunner, draws a hero and crewwoman. Enrico captures the crew... Black Gomez stands off a similar charge, but doesn't hurt either of his attackers With 5 models out of action, including Captain de Guzman and ALL of the S4 swordsmen and women, the Estalians give it up. The Crew immediately pounce on the Watch. Here the gunner who shot Captain de Guzman is literally stabbed in the back Evil Sasha climbs the cliff and confronts the Tilean and Anne Bonney. It doesn't go as planned... Despite their success against Sasha (and Captain de Guzman) the Watch can not stand against 3 blunderbuss shots and the attention of most of the Crew (who were being threatened by invincible Vampire Bats if only the Watch had held...) The Estalians ran first. Captain de Guzman is blinded in one eye. Sadie is re-captured by her former mates, the Crew, who press her as a swab... The Estalians find a treasure in a tidal pool in exploration and a crate of clothing. They trade with the Cheating Merchant... The Bay Watch run: - Jim L wrote:
- Dead:
Gunner: Pops II, 6exp., sword-pistol-toughened leathers ----I failed to loot
Captured by the Crew: Gunner: Finn II, 0 exp., sword-blunderbuss, toughened leathers
Captured by the Estalians Gunner: Bruno 14 exp., axe-pistol-toughened leathers
Crew, Bratz III, 5 exp., club-toughened leathers
Ran away! Swab: Moe V, 2-daggers
After rolling 4 ones or twos for injury, Jim L rolled double 2s for Supply and ended up Lost in the Jungle... The Crew lost Maggie May, who was captured and joined the crew of des Hombres Rojas. Evil Sasha suffered an amputated arm (but since its a pirate campaign just lost a hand)! She now sports a hook and is therefore more evil, but not so shooty. The Crew captured Finn II and Sadie. They just wanted Finn's blunderbuss... They trade with the Cheating Merchant. Next week we will be still fighting in the Jungles, because, lost. See ya!

| We aim to please... _________________________________________________________________________________ To Be a Pyrate King--The Valley of GwangiOur heroes journey to a jungle valley in search of one of the fabled Stegadons... Once again there were just the three of us... Des Hombres Rojas chose the Pass The Stegadon calf was grazing near the center of the valley The Bay Watch entered from the east... as far from des Hombres and the Crew as they could get. Black Mab's Crew hugged the heights to shield them from des Hombres' Big Game Hunter... Except for these two, who were out on their own to the southwest... Until the Coatl attacked... (Chris rolls an encounter on his first turn) The lone hero decides to attack the Coatl because it is only T3... Chris has a hero and a henchman out of action by turn 2... Meanwhile the rest of the warband move to counter des Hombres... The Stegadon calf can see a Crew-woman at the end of Crew turn and flees toward the east bleating loudly. The ground begins to shake as Momma comes to the rescue... The Estalians move toward the Crew (and try to clear the pass, just in case...) The Crew continue their advance (the die represents a hero who's base will not perch on the rocks) Also Momma arrives through the vacated Pass... She makes a bee-line for her poor calf Mab's Crew spring their attack on the Estalians. (The Estalians shot first killing the enemy Tilean Marksman! Go Guido II!) Those two models in the top left carry blunderbusses. They hit the group of swordsmen in the center. Killing one, wounding 3 and taking a wound off poor Juan the Gimp, too. The battle in the rocks. Two Crew heroes take on Al Bobo. Gomez y Gomez tries to help... A bottleneck... Meanwhile, there is lots of hacking, slashing and stepping aside (or not wounding at all)... Captian de Guzman, Almah and Jaun the Gimp turn the tide. The 4 Attack Blonde falls to the Captain. Almah hacks down two henchwomen. Gomez falls to the lone male hero on the Crew. But before the Crew can flee a Terradon Nest is discovered on the height above the Crew's gunners. A handgunnner is plucked off the cliff and the Crew routs! When we left the Bay Watch, they were hiding in the jungle while trying to separate the calf from her Mom. As it became apparent that the Crew and the Estalians would break each other, the Watch got a bit brazen and the maddened cow started crushing pirates. The Estalians end up too close to the terradon nest. Here Ali bin Ali is plucked off the cliff... Where did he go? Too many Estalians fall (literally) to the enraged terradon (and really bad rules reading, but that's what I get for forgetting my glasses two weeks in a row) and des Hombres flee. Now at this point Jim L has only one model out of action and could just disengage from the cow and she would flee with her calf... And the Watch would win! But the Watch gets greedy... While Little Billy distracts the cow, the calf is captured! But alas Little Billy is only good for a round or two (and the folks who captured the calf are not strong enough to lead the stubborn little git away...) Mamma no like two legs! The Bay Watch flee as well! Victory to the Stegadon Cow! Black Mabs crew lose three killed, including the poor git the Coatl got and the Tilean. The Crew do find their way back to Torktuga and civilization. The Estalians lose the newly pressed swordswoman (captured from The Crew last game.) In addition Guido II was dropped off the cliff and killed by the pesky terradon! Des Hombres Rojas retreat to Torktuga as well. - Jim L wrote:
- Bosun Fathee died.
Cabin boy Little Billie II died.
Mean dinosaur killed them both.
Cabin boy Shark Bait healed up his 3 missed games and fell ill to an old battle wound. I think he's a slacker, going to put him out front if he ever plays again.
Thief "found" a crossbow
I went from 302 to 309. whoopee!
The Bay Watch now have 6 heroes & 4 henchmen & 3 hired swords and I'm broke already, again.
2 wins 2 ties (we all 3 lost so I'm counting tonight as a tie) 10 losses (The Lost Watch did manage to find Torktuga, too. Thus the increase in henchmen. They were down to one at the end of the fight.)

| Thanks gents! _________________________________________________________________________________ To be a Pyrate King--The Hunters become the HuntedWe've been bumbling along in the Lustrian jungle for a bit. In the mean time a few formerly active players have been stopping by asking when the next campaign starts, so today's offering is the last for this cycle (although the new campaign will likely have the same name and generally lax attention to plot). We haven't played many of the classic Lustrian scenarios (aside from too much time spent in fog...). This week Jim L rolled one: Jim L also failed his Pirate Curse roll (spectacularly as usual). The Bay Watch have eaten Bad Rations (none are too sick to fight, but many see hallucinations or are severely weakened). The Estalians also fail the Pirate Curse roll, but only suffer from Greed which is not so bad in this scenario if you are winning...) Des Hombres Rojas have pursued a skink who seems to be accompanied by Cold Ones... The scenario opens with the skink beastmaster turning on his tormentors just as small groups of Mab's Crew and the Bay Watch appear on the flanks... Gunner Gustav (not pictured) failed his fear test then fell to one S4 hit. His blunderbuss is lost. Hadji, on the other hand, survived all 4 attacks from the skink and Cold One and would have killed a Cold One except for Scaly Skin. Not pictured, Chris unloads 2 blunderbusses (out of 5 possible), plus 3 crossbow shots. Rutgar, Ali bin Ali and his body guard are knocked down or stunned. The Big Game Hunter and Alma suffer a wound... The counter charge! Alma and Juan the Gimp fail a fear test and do nothing, but Captian de Guzman and Rodrigo charge to the rescue of Hadji. Here Rodrigo has killed a Cold One. (The dead animals' bodies become an objective [and an obstacle] in our version of the scenario.) The Skink goes out of action next. The counter represents the Cold One Whip. And then Hadji kills the last Cold One before the Captain can subdue it with the Whip... And then the next volley of handgun and crossbows take Alma's last wound and knock her down... In the meantime Chris has rolled the event Forbidden Fruit. A poisoned tree appears within 2" of his whole attack force. What followed was a lot of ineffective shooting, failing leadership tests and needing to be restrained rather than move to the forbidden tree (and go out of action) and the slow whittling down of Mab's Crew. Here the rest of the Crew appear to the east... (The green counter represents one of the 4 traps the Big Game Hunter got to deploy. 3 were duds and because of the Forbidden Tree no one went close to the last one...) Enrico catches the reinforcements in a blunderbuss shot. None are wounded... And a handy giant reptile kills one of the Primed Twins and breaks the Crew The Watch's Captain, Tilean and a crewman did for Hadji, but Fransico and Mad Edric III break the Watch with a brutal counter charge. Mab's Crew lost two of their 7 casualties. The plant got one and the 'monster' got the other. Mab ends the campaign with another +1 underdog bonus. Despite a lot of lamentation, only the Watch's Tilean actually died. The Watch gain another +4 underdog bonus. The Estalians lost Gunner Gustav to the Cold One. They gained the hides of both Cold Ones, the Cold One Whip and 3 Dark Venom (from the Forbidden Fruit event). Des Hombres Rojas sail victoriously into the sunset... Adios amigos, and thanks for watching.

| Thank you gents! _________________________________________________________________________________ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Pyrates of the Karribean--Dead Man's Hand For the past couple of weeks we have been negotiating when and how a new campaign could begin. Thus we met last Thursday (March 1) to inaugurate a new campaign: Players and Warbands:Chris S-- Estalian Corsairs Jim L--Sartosan Pyrates Jim S--Estalian Corsairs John D--Undead Kevin C--Marienburgers Press Gang! The Mary Anns versus the Estalians. The three warbands were competing for a possible 10 drunks after hours on a Torktugan night. The crew of the Valeria Rojas began to the west of the pestilent drinking house known as the Sow's Ear. The other Estalians were to the east; with the Mary Ann's off to the north. Despite some set backs, the crew of the Valeria Rojas arrived near the bar first. A Tired Sentry event popped a swivel gunner up on the Estalian flank. But its a dark night and the tired sentry can not see Juan and Rodrigo attack that drunk. The sentry can only hear their screams... A lone drunk relaxes in a rowboat. This seemingly harmless drunk will defeat Chris' Estalian Captain and a Crewman... To the north another solitary drinker is peppered with crossbow bolts by Mary Anns on the bridge above... Chris' woes continue as these worthies cut down a drunk on the bridge (drunks been removed already, killed) The New Estalians flee after their captain is taken down by the Drunk Under the Bridge. The Mary Anns close in on the Sow's Ear. Mary Anns attack the crew of the Valeria Rojas. Here Enrico the gunner is saved by Fransico. The New Estalians broke with the Captain and one henchman out of action. Neither died. The New guys find a crate of gunpowder. They killed one drunk and captured one. The crew of the Valeria Rojas broke with Al Bobo, Juan and Gunner Rodrigo out of action. Al Bobo was hardened by his injury. Juan and Rodrigo recovered. The Old Estalians captured two drunks and happened across a third in Exploration. All three were sold to the galleys of the Governor of Port Sigmar. In addition the Old Estalians opened a crate of food which contained a smuggled dose of Manticore Spoor... They also captured Olbs the Marienburger who joined the crew. The Mary Anns lost Olbs captured. They had 2 or three total casualties, but captured 2 drunks and won the day because their rivals fled. Go Mary Anns! (We had to explain the advantages of winning to Kevin because it had been awhile...) The Mary Anns gain the services of an Ogre Bodyguard who is returning a favor. The press gangers encountered 6 Angry Drunks out of the possible 10. The drunks took 2 heroes and 2 henchmen out of action. Only half of the drunks were captured, one was killed. The struggles of Jim L will be reported on another day...

| GOOD LOOKIN' GAME! If nothing else, the New Campaign has got you out of the sweltering, disease ridden Jungles & back in the gutters of some stinking port...where Pirates belong. Jim L's luck or lack thereof is legendary; his tales of woe are worth waiting for. | |

Fancy Meetin' YOU 'ere!An inebriated variation of Chance Encounter in which the New Baywatch meet the Undead As you may remember Jim L ended the previous campaign by rolling the worst result on the Pirate Curse table. His warband began this campaign new and improved with converted or specially purchased models to reflect a new approach. For the first game Jim was facing an Undead warband, but the scenario was Chance Encounter and the time of day was daylight. What could possibly go wrong? The event Rowdy Drunks, that's what. 25 Rowdy Drunks D3 Angry Drunks stumble out of the building nearest to you, looking for a fight. Thereafter on each of your player turns, another angry drunk stumbles out the door. They keep coming out until another player rolls a 1 to gain a random event. Sadly for Jim, most of his warband was in a building... Here his crossbow armed Captain faces the first 2 drunks on the roof... Two turns later there are 2 more drunks... and this happens. Jim flees with 2 heroes and 2 henchmen out of action. No drunks were harmed. One henchman dies. The Undead did not get close enough to the pirates to attack them, but they win. Here's a photo of the starting warband In exploration both warbands attempt to buy lucky charms from the Torktugan vendors (all items purchased at Torktuga are stolen, so we use the Buying from a Fence rules from the Arabian Merchant. Mr L bought 2 lucky charms, both fake. The Undead also tried to purchase lucky charms, both fake. _________________________________________________________________________________ Rock the BoatA nautical Defend the Find in which the outnumbered pirates are surrounded by Undead... Once again it is a nice day in Torktuga. The New Baywatch is hunkered down on a ship. There are Undead all around them... The event Storm of Chaos is rolled: - Quote :
- 3. Wyrdstone dust has mixed with the water vapor in the area and produced the strange looking clouds from which a tainted rain begins to fall. The rain burns flesh and eats into stone and metal. Each warband member in the open takes a single S2 hit (normal armor saves apply) every turn the rain lasts until he gets under cover. The rain lasts D3 turns.
Here we see the affect the rain has on the Undead. All those T4 ghouls down! A wolf and the necromancer! Looks bad, eh? Well fear not, because the pirates will be broken by the rain. Floppy a Pirate Mate is killed. The Pirates do gain 3 treasures from the Find when they rout...

| Seconded -- those Undead look excellent! The pictures of the bold pirates aren't so clear; any chance of a team photo for them?
I also wonder you might not be overdoing the random events when two games end apparently without the warbands making contact... but it's also too fun to criticise! Looking forward to future games with these handsome warbands.

Perhaps, the popularity of photos during games has waned considerably (especially among the young and camera phone equipped). Mr L is fairly erratic at what and when his phone will record himself... Either way I didn't see your post until today, so maybe next week. _________________________________________________________________________________ The Dead Man's Hand--Week 2We were all 5 present for another week! Pressgang! The New Baywatch, Mary Anns and New Estalians go after drunks after dark... The New Estalians began the evening in the east. Again there are eight of them (there were 8 last week too, perhaps the wounded Captain was more severely injured than I was led to believe...) The photographic urge was spurred by the event Collapsing Building which brought down the Three Sisters Bordello, which the Mary Anns happened to have started in... Here are the ruins with the intact building set aside off table. (One hero was crushed by the rubble) The New Baywatch were off to the west. The high rated Mary Anns press on. (That drab guy by the corner of the building is a drunk.) Floppy II and Shark Bait attack a drunk But things start to go south... Here Little Billy is not so lucky Then its Shark Bait's turn... Then the Mary Anns start to get in the act The New Baywatch flee (which ended the photographer's interest in this particular fight.) No one dies for the Watch which should have been a good thing considering that they had captured 3 drunks successfully, but Mr L can and will snatch defeat from many sources, so his attempts to buy Lucky Charms continued to go south. Two more fakes are purchased. Little Billy will miss the next game... The Mary Anns were suffering from the shock of the building coming down. Despite some luck in pushing the Watch out of their territory, the Mary Anns were broken by the significantly out-numbered and outgunned Estalians. The Mary Anns acquire a jeweled sword and dagger in Exploration. The New Estalians snatch victory from almost certain defeat (they were outnumbered by the Watch, let alone the Mary Anns). The New Estalians find a Treasure Map in a capsized rowboat More Rocking the Boat to come...

The Undead gained some good rolls, but then had to rush off for home. _________________________________________________________________________________ Rock the Boat AgainThis time the poor Bay Watch are trapped on the boat. Naturally this does not end well. The first shot from the Old Estalians new handgun takes the Bay Watch Captain right out of action. Boom! It doesn't get any better after that for the Bay Watch. However no one dies and they gain 3 cargo from the ship's hold before they flee. One more fake Lucky Charm is found before the night ends. The Old Estalians suffered no casualties. Two more handguns are found to arm the Firing Squad and a Leviathan Hunter returns a favor. Oh and a crate of jewels is opened. The Old Estalians find a fake Lucky Charm, too. (I've found 2 fakes out of 6 searched for. Mr L has found 4 fakes out of 9 searched for and still has a Charmless hero...)

| Dead Man's Hand--Port Sigmar!Kevin made Game Night at near the regular starting time, so he was finally able to force pyrates to visit Port Sigmar. With predictable results... Sirrah, Ye Lie!The crew of the Valeria Rojas visit Port Sigmar, suffer indignities and profiling from the local Watch. Mary Anns to blame. A market square in Port Sigmar. The Mary Anns have an ogre... My Bounty Hunter runs into the Big Guy as the Watch closes in. More of the damn law show up to roust the innocent pyrates. Like we were fighting an ogre, and pyrates are the monsters. The mere sight of the armed and armored Watch bearing down broke the Estalians. No casualties were suffered by either side. The Mary Anns become rich. _________________________________________________________________________________ HijackAn attempted hijacking in Tortuga sees Sartosans gain gold. The New Estalians attempted to relieve the Bay Watch of a cargo. Surprisingly the Bay Watch refuse to roll over. The Bay Watch heading for a port rendezvous. The Bay Watch's ship comes in. There are lots of New Estalians between the ship and the cargo... Mrs Wolfgang (in black) directs the cargo toward the ship. They take the back alleys of Torktuga While the rest of the crew try to hold up the Estalians Daring deeds on a narrow walkway... Desperate battles The cargo nears the ship - Jim L wrote:
- Gunner, Junior died.
The Bay Watch win though and gain 21 gold, 3 treasures, A Badge of the Free Traders and a Whalebone Charm. An Ogre Bodyguard named Tiny returns a favor. - Chris S wrote:
- A cabin boy named Ezra died.
The New Estalians hire Ezra II and console themselves with another great find in Exploration. More to come...later in the week.

| Hijack IIThe New Estalians learned from their earlier mistake. The Old Estalians had to be the attackers this time. The game began with the event Sirens Song. The lads carrying the New Estalians' cargo succumbed but just got closer to their goal... Then everyone resisted the Sirens' song and the race went on. The Old Estalians forge through the invisible crowd, who are doing their best to impede the pyrates. The New Estalians are almost there The Old Estalians are left in the dust The final confrontation. The New Estalians are going to win, but a little blood may be shed... The Old Estalians suffered no casualties. They did find some useful cargo lying around and hired an Arabian Merchant to sell it for them. The New Estalians win! They didn't find as much gold as the Bay Watch, but there were 3 treasures in the cargo plus the usual Whale Bone Charm. The one git who went out of action got better. _________________________________________________________________________________ Pressganging in Port SigmarThe Bay Watch end up trying to raise crew in Port Sigmar The Mary Anns follow the ogre. Its night, there's a crowd and there are 8 drunks to recruit! The Bay Watch on the move. Also following an ogre... Panoramic Port Sigmar Accosting drunks Which spooks the invisible crowd, who then rampage through the Mary Anns The gunner captures a drunk. The Watch advances Tiny fights the Mary Anns, like nearly all of them Tiny goes down (Note the Shore Patrol has arrived.) The Mary Anns don't get far. Near the end, the Bay Watch captures the last free drunk. - Jim L wrote:
- Shark Bait the Cabin boy was captured by the Shore Patrol but died from excessive brutality in captivity.
Ogre Bodyguard Tiny died on his 1st battle.
On the bright side, Captain Flashy saw promise in Gunner Bruno 2, and promoted him to a hero. (Need to build a new model now) The Tilean marksman, Mario, got Quick shot for his 1st advance! The warband’s heroes searched for a 3rd blunderbuss after the battle and found one! Captain Flashy, with his Badge of the Free Traders, haggled 9gc off the price, and it was still a good one!
A crate was opened and 3 droughts of Grog were found. Another crate was opened and a set of Toughened leathers was found. (I am beginning to get a fierce hatred for food & clothing.) Kevin wins with a healthy dose of help from the local cops. The Bay Watch captured 5 drunks and killed 2. The Mary Anns captured one drunk. But they won 2 games in one night. _________________________________________________________________________________ A Duel on the High SeasSomewhere south of Torktuga The men could hear the creak of rigging, the sound of waves hitting a hull. They could see nothing on the moonless night. Then the darkness lit with a cannon blast from the starboard. Arrows flew out of the night to slam into railings and masts. All hands stood to.
Suddenly a ship hove out of the darkness. Sparks flashed as a gun misfired. The guns of the Valeria Rojas roared. The other ship shuddered then slid back into the darkness.
The fight took place in Darkness. The pesky Undead snuck up, fired a few ineffective rounds, then caught a favorable wind to escape. The Undead win since they were able to limp off my table edge before the Estalians could score another hit with their amazing cannon of killyness. (Took the Undead ship to 7 damage with only two hits!) No one was hurt. The Undead retreated to Torktuga with their cargo. The Estalians found themselves with a Friendly Merchant with whom Ali bin Ali did a brisk business, including the purchase of a half price brace of dueling pistols! This coming game session will take place entirely on the high seas.
