| Ok, since you asked, I will post up my 40K models. First up, my Black Templars. I have changed up the colors a little. My whole army has this pattern, except for my assault troops. I dont have any pics of them, but I will soon (just for you guys). One of my squads. One of my commanders. Just a few of my DHers. Nothing special. Just a taste of my IG. I have chosen to use late WW2 Panzer Grenadier colors for them. I have added my own flavor, but the colors are some what close. Wait till you see my vehicles! Senitel (Now you know why). The base has since been added! Chimera Now here are just a few models from my original hobby....just so you guys know my origins. This is a German 250-9 half track. It was used for recon, but the 20mm cannon was originally an AA gun. This vehicle represents one of the 116th PzGrenedier Division in France during the fighting against the US forces. This is a Soviet BRDM. It represents a vehicle from the Soviet Army on it's way out of Afganistan, hence the paint scheme. Here is another WH40K Model. I thought this was a cool model, so I built and painted it...no Orc army. I chose to use 1944 Dot Pattern on him...He is an SS Orc Boss...hehe. I know, my WW2 influence is just over whelming. I just thought it would be cool to see an orc in 1944 Dot Pattern. My camera is acting funny, so the lighting is a bit off....Sorry for the somewhat bright photo. The model on the left is a BT Capt. One of my first when I used to paint the officers in chrome armor. The middle is an assult marine...I used to paint them chrome too...and on the right is a sgt. I am just finishing up.

| Wow! Love them all! do you use spray paint for the vehicles? at the russian tank, since (I think) it's from WW2, you should paint a hammer and sickle/star on it's side _________________ ..and by a roll of the dice you go under..

| @Matt - I use Iwata brand airbrushes. I also use oil washes, pastels and grease paints...I go nuts when it comes to my military models.
That is not a tank, it is a armored car. The particular vehicle I made did not have it in real life! WHen I build models of real vehicles, I 99% of the times find a photo or drawing of a vehicle that existed in real life and copy it! So to answer you, I could not put a hammer and sickle or even star. The ONLY thing on the car was the number...thats it!
Also, it is not from WW2. It was from the withdrawal of Afganistan in the 1990's.
Let me know if you have any other questions....I am sort of a military vehicle and weapon guru.
@Duce - Its a good combination. You can always mix and match with these 2 armies...you know?
As for the commander, he is the Capt. Lynsader (sp???) and I modified what used to be his hammer is now a power sword....made of 2 WHFB DE execusioner blades! lol...

| BLACK TEMPLARS, AAAAAGH! [sounds of rapidly retreating footsteps as the Old Man goes screaming into the night] GOD but I HATE Black Templars! I painted up 3,000 or so points of THOSE GOD AWFUL THINGS for a guy who MAY have some redeemable qualities, but damned if I can think of one at the moment. That said, yours turn out REALLY nicely. The Commander in particular is an EXCELLENTLY done mini; the conversion on the power sword is both imaginative AND well done. The Imperial Guard & ALL your Vehicles ROCK! It's funny you chose the Panzer Grenadier color as I tend to think of the Space Marines & the MORE fanatical I.G. units as Space Nazis [see previous Black Templar remarks ]. Keep'em coming I'm SURE you'll get LOTS of well deserved, positive feedback. | |

| I've been thinking about the Panzer Grenadier I.G. stuff. I wonder how Darkson's AEWWII & Weird WWII things would work wth 40K. I was ALSO wondering if anyone play the aforementioned WWII games. I don't often get a chance to hit the not-so-local games store, SO...I'm abit out of touch on what's going down these days. | |

| No, the half track and armored car are both 1/35th scale models. The half track by Tamiya and the Armored car by Dragon (DML). | |

| @ Da Bank
Well, I guess 1/35t I dont is ok. I know a few people that do, or use models as conversions...but I dont like doing that. Being that 40K isnt exactly to scale with itself...i mean, do you really think that 10 space marines can REALLY fit in the Rhino?! LOL
