| Hey everyone, After seeing some very inspirational works here, I figured I could no longer resist registering. Here is whatever I have cooked up. I will include scenery because I dislike having several threads. Ezekiel recently came to my club to demo the game for my clubmates. We know each other from our previous club. The game proved more popular than I thought it would, and even some non-wargamers decided to take the plunge, which led to me rabidly painting all of the works in progress I had collected over the years, so they could participate. So, without further ado, in no reasonable order, I present you some of the works I have finished in the past few months, and we start with some golden oldies that were done a long time ago. Norton the Dwarf, one of my favourite models, and a gift from a forumite from another forum. My Marienburg warband, including a Warlock in the back. I wish the scenery was mine, but it isn't. My Witch Hunter. He recently finally got some mates to hang out with. This gal could be a fine Pit Fighter. This puppy is roughly a year old. This guy counts as a Possessed. Probably a Nurgle-inspired Darksoul one day. And now for some of the more the recent stuff... Cheapest zombie ever! Most expensive zombie ever! Might go back to him to add some of that blood paint which I didn't have at the time I painted him. Give it back Ezekiel!! Teehee. Hendrik Hein has entered the city in search of treasure, his trusted cook accompanying him. Easy scenery A real spider decided to square off against a skeleton warrior. Look at how incredibly scary that spider looks!! Moar zombies!! You know what... I will leave some more for other days. Give you the opportunity to digest this bombardment of pictures. Soon, we have waded through the Random Happenings and start seeing some real warbands. |

| So much eye candy! Great work! I was going to compliment you on your realistic jungle terrain, then the spider walked up. In scale too! Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Again welcome to the forum! | |

By the way, what the hell are you feeding the spiders with in the netherlands, this thing is huge, compared to its relatives in germania?!Chees? _________________ Lord Flasheart: And always remember - if you want something, take it! | WONDERFUL STUFF! Minis, scenery, accessory pieces, & The Spider are TERRIFIC; with the exception of The Spider, your creations all show a FINE hand with the brush & some OUTSTANDING modeling. VERY WELL DONE!

| OH BABY! That does look SPLENDID! The BEAUTIFUL scenery (Ezekiel is a very talented Guy) & equally attractive minis work WONDERFULLY together. GREAT WORK all around! I'm not certain what the flat spiders are either. The pretty one confronting the Living Impaired looks a little like a Wolf Spider...we had a few on Long Island: | |

| Nah, that live one definitely isn't a wolf spider. Abdominal shape and how it holds its legs are both wrong. Looks like it might be a kind of orb weaver, but not sure. The big flat black ones might be water spiders, which look kind of like wolf spiders but bigger, flatter, and darker. Do you live near a lake?
But back to the topic at hand, terrain is super neat, lots of cool variety, and love the in-game shots!

| Beg your prdon mr. daniel, but back to this spider, think its an cross or garden spider, relative to the marbled orb weaver! OK, now i really have to sart a possessed warband with spider background! , i promise al! _________________ Lord Flasheart: And always remember - if you want something, take it! Bobby! | No, it's not a wolf spider. It's smaller I think plus I don't think we have wolf spiders here. Not sure though... Floedebolle is right. I looked it up on the internet. We call them cross spiders but they are also called garden spiders and are orb weavers. I never saw one with this colour scheme though, and they usually chill out in their webs instead of walking around, so those two things, coupled with the fact that there was a Skeleton waiting to be photographed was enough for me to take some pics. And to NoisyAssassin, here in the Netherlands, you never live farther than one hundred metres from a body of water, so while not a lake, I do live near water. I got too freaked out to look any further to find out what kind of spider they are. They are pretty horrid, but I am pretty sure there are countries with bigger (and more dangerous) spiders out there, so I can't complain. Looking forward to your warband, Floedebolle. I too have toyed with the idea... maybe I will, maybe I won't... Not sure yet, I do have Possessed models waiting to be painted. More pictures? Sure... Imperial Assassin - I had originally bought this model just because I liked it, then when we started to plan our campaign, I noticed how the Town Cryer used another one of these models for the Assassin. It was a quick and dirty paint job but I love the result. If you don't have the tecnical paint Blood for the Blood God, buy it now!!! Ho ho ho, a pirate's life for one of my friends Not related to Mordheim, but fun nonetheless. If you want to see more pics of these, I have a log over in the Random Project Logs section of Warseer, I am easy to find. Target practice! A witch! She even has the pouch described in her stats... Quite proud of this kitbash. Also, twelve wyrdstone counters... Super fun to do. Well... tomorrow I will post some more. Feel free to discuss the finer points of spiders, and since we are on the topic, if someone happens to have a spare O&G Spider Rider spider they are willing to trade for some random bitz, let me know, I am trying to complete my Random Happenings collection. Thanks for all the kind comments. I really appreciate it. |

| Haha, this topic really turns into a spider thing, like it! Great wyrdstoneshards markers, also have to finish mine. The assassin mini is a classic by citadel, its one of volands venators, is it? Always liked those mercenaries, and a good and quick paintjob too. Oh, and pirates? Reminds me on serialmoms pirates, nasty warband, and even nastier if played by beardymom, oops, did i call him beardy...., sorry! Looking forward for more dutch spiderstuff! _________________ Lord Flasheart: And always remember - if you want something, take it! Bobby! Bob Parkhurst: [enters] My lord? | OOH, MORE COOL STUFF! There that about says it all...well maybe a word or two more. The minis, especially the Witchy Woman, are UBERCOOL, BEAUTIFULLY painted & modified. AND that is a VERY NICE glow you achieved with the Wyrdstone markers. VERY WELL DONE!

| No Dutch spider stuff (honestly, they're not that scary usually) but some more minis for your viewing pleasure. Still looking for a Spider Rider spider if you happen to have a spare... Yes, it's a Voland's model. Got it for an okay price. First two finished minis for my Altdorf Reikland warband. And one with Johann. Got him in a lucky lot together with Aenur, a Pirate Dwarf and a Witch Hunter Captain. One buck a piece! This guy. Reikland Captain Darksouls, in case you didn't know! Heheh... Cold One Hounds... kind of... Augurs... Not the best conversion, but cheaper than buying two (identical) Augurs... Yes, our campaign will (eventually) have two Sisters of Sigmar warbands. It's insane. Brethren Dark Elf Captain A few models left to show, but I am stretching it out a bit... for no reason... |

| Thank you guys! But the city isn't mine, it's from Ezekiel. Grimscull, the Cold One Hounds are from Gamezone Miniatures. The Cultists are from Heresy Miniatures, and if you haven't heard from them before, they have some really good models for Mordheim, especially their (dirt cheap) Giant Spider. Their site even features some Mordheim scenery. I wanted to try my hand at some OSL. I think I did well with this mini. It's not perfect, but it gets the job done. This guy's OSL was less successful, but it's a learning game, so I am happy. Do you believe in love after love? I can feel something inside me saying I really don't think it's strong enough Finally, I had this body in my bit box for ages, it was poorly sprayed white and dipped in some wash... It was an eyesore. I still needed a Witch Hunter Captain and figured this guy would make a nice, fat, pathetic wussy of a captain. I quite like him now! That's it for now. I still have my Sisters of Sigmar to finish so hopefully I will get motivated enough, and I want to make a start on a new endeavour on scenery. I do have some scenery to show in battle report pics, but some of it is not that great. Cheers, Daniel |

| Lots of really cool stuff since I last chimed in here! Sad that international postage is what it is...I bought a lot box of goblins a while back, so I have about 40 spider riders sitting around, but the cheapest shipping I could find would still be about $5-8 to mail one to the Netherlands | |

| Really? I've sent stuff to the US before, usually in a simple envelope, and that was usually no more than two bucks. Granted, it was bitz so pretty flat, but still...
It's okay though, I will find something someday. |
