Hey everyone,
Resistance proved futile. Long have I resisted the urge to register, but after having seen Dunbrough and Gripenhem from Theomar Pius, I knew I had to register to partake in the inspirational endeavour that is this forum.
My name is Daniel and I am from Heerhugowaard. I am actually an old clubmate of Ezekiel, whom most of you probably know, and he brought his city with him a while ago to my new club to demo the game for my clubmates. It has since sparked a lot of enthusiasm and we are not far off of our very first Mordheim campaign, with no less than 13 players starting, though I suspect some may quit during. That's okay though.
Some more info from me. I am 32 years old, am married and have two children, but that didn't stop me from continuing my hobby. I am a teacher of English as a secondary language. I recently became too jaded to continue Warhammer and 40K, and sold off a lot of my stuff. During that time, I wanted to pick up Mordheim again, having played the odd campaign in the past few years but never for very long. That will change.
I actually own several warbands, most of which I finished painting the starter force for in the past few months (so non-wargamers can play with us) and will show everything in a log here soon. I love building scenery but am too much of a perfectionist to actually get going, but that too will change, now that I am here to soak up all of the inspiration provided.
If you live in the area, and want to participate in our campaign (which will start soonish) let me know. If you have any questions for me, don't hesitate either.
