terrain pieces and markers

Wow! Great post! Very inspiring!

I made the posters on the message bord a bit dirtier and made some more markers (can you ever have enough markers for Mordheim? :-) )

You can never have enough markers. I love the posters, absolutely love them. Did you create them yourself? I am definitely keeping such a thing in mind for my own city.

I actually have those bits you put on top of that message board and I like it so much I am probably just going to straight up copy it.

SWEET! The new take on the Objective marker is just as cool, but with more "objective" & less "standard" to it. AND the Barn looks TERRIFIC...adding the details is the most enjoyable part of a build; enjoy the process. GREAT WORK!

Very true! The barn has lots of potential.

My small (but growning!) town has it's own sign...


...as well as some much needed town-accomodations: a clock tower and little building to ring a bell in times of danger.

Love it!

Nice.  I find myself going back and adding or subtracting things all the time.  Your additions have added tons of character to the gallows.

The clock tower and the alarm bell are painted in such a way as they would fit right in with my Karribean terrain.  And every colonial port needs a gallows... Inspiring.

SPLENDID! The embellishments look WONDERFUL. Terrain is never really finished; there is always some little thing to do or add. GREAT WORK!

Von Kurst, DeafNala; you're quite right. Terrain is never finished. I still want to add barrels and crates and leafes like Warboss Kurgan uses on his terrain. And more weathering. And small animals (like rats or snails). So many plans.

Von Kurst; I reckon a gallow would fit any wargame terrain, even SF.
Glad my gallow inspired you. I lost count on how msny ideas i picked from others.

That is a FANTASTIC Observatory...could double as the photo section of a tabloid. GREAT WORK!  

Great job on the observatory, especially the beams.  I love all that style of wood work.

I've been working on some terrain where I try to achieve some kind of medieal hell-on-earth feel.

First up, my pig sty.
The idea here is of a flesh-eating and blood-drinking pig (a Khorne-knor for all the Dutch speaking people on this forum, if you pardon my pun) with the bones of his victims. There is a 'don't feed' sign, but somehow the 'don't' part of the sign has fallen off.






Second is a prison tower for my witch hunters, filled with mutants, heretics and worse.







I'm not quite happy with them yet, but for now, they're fine.

Both pieces are WONDERFULLY IMAGINATIVE. The modeling & painting are OUTSTANDING. VERY WELL DONE!  

The pig sty is a really creepy idea. The tower is pretty disgusting as well. Fine work!
