| I just realize that there is missing a shield on the back.
Hmm, but a shield would cover the nicely painted crossbow.

Hmm, but a shield would cover the nicely painted crossbow. ... AND since he's armed with a two handed battle ax. he couldn't use the shield anyway.

Would it be possible to see Strangehelmet's shield a bit clearer? Of course. Didn't do that before, because I needed to paint it a little more. At first, it was like here: Then I thought I can do better, so now it looks so: I hope it really looks better than before.

| The Little Old Lads have a charming quality that is sadly lacking in more modern pieces. Your WONDERFUL brushwork & keen eye for colors brings out every ounce of it. VERY WELL DONE! | |

| We could never be bored of your beautiful brush strokes. Excellent models. On a side note, I noticed that these are not gw models and yet they have black powder weapons. Its cool how much influnce Warhammer has become. Back before warhammer, black powder weapons ws unheard of in a fantasy setting. And now its becoming a common sight. | |

| In that case, skavenblight does such an amazing job painting, they look so much better then any model from and White Dwarf magizine, they don't even look gwish. They look better.
But my thought about blackpowder still stands. Heck, look at W.O.W., their dwarfs have black powder rifles. Even I beileve the new D&D had it too. I'm sure I have seen some pictures. And W.O.W came well after warhammer. Same with the new D&D stuff.

| Well the Vertically Challenged Psychos do have the attitude backed up by your BEAUTIFUL brushwork. That's probably enough to overcome their lack of a Punk Goth Look. VERY WELL DONE! | |

| I am back from holiday and missed this post.
I really love the white dwarf sculpts and of course I love the paint job.
@von Kurst: maybe I will find some Slayer minis I really would like to see with this warband, but on the other hand to I want to play these minis. They could either be leaders ( my favorit mini is not shown yet but he is my leader) or some crazy extremely gritty non slayer dwarfs ( like the legendary white dwarf itself is on a much more potent level).
