The Jungle Warrior Babes look FANTASTIC...very nice mix of minis. The brushwork is SPLENDID & the bases fit the Lustrian look in an OUTSTANDING fashion. VERY WELL DONE!

The Toss Their Hair Tribe girls don't get out much these days, since Chris and playtable both have their Amazon warbands (and take turns playing them in our annual Lustrian campaigns).

Thanks Mike! You know I posted one just this morning...   

My biggest problem is the too many warbands, not enough campaigns. I have all these pirates I've collected that haven't seen a table for awhile AND I haven't played orcs as a full time warband in almost as long.

VK I think your Amazons look amazing, are any of them the old GW miniatures that were produced? I have been looking for decent female minis for my wife so that she will play again.

Not GW. I never got any of those models. My warband is made up of Celtos and Reaper, with some old Ral Partha (not pictured).

The Totem Warriors and the Serpent Priestess are all Celtos (Ikore?) The Warriors are Reaper. Reaper has tons of great models for Amazons, especially if you have some Lizardman and Imperial Guard bitz around. And lots of feathers.

Nowadays I think it might very well be possible to convert a cool amazon warband using only citadel plastic kits, if one were so inclined.

She is sweet!! Very cool conversion. I recognize her because I have the model myself, so I know how much work you have put in converting her. Top job!

Thanks Daniel. I have three versions of this model so far and I might have to buy a fourth. Just to make it easier on me, I wish they would make her in their Bones range.

It's good to see the Toss Their Hair Babes getting some table top action. Ketta is a FINE addition to the crew...TERRIFIC brushwork & freehand! VERY WELL DONE!    

I've done that mini a couple of times myself. Although I have yet to do any converting, she is a very enjoyable mini to paint.   

Oh baby, this senorita turned out really nice, the tigerpelt and head is awesome, nice job von kurst!
