Having picked up a couple of Serpent Priesteses on the cheap a while ago, I've been thinking of putting together an Amazon warband. Trouble is, I've not found any more Amazon miniatures that I like. I don't like the look of the rest of the GW Amazon models, and they are also both incredibly rare and expensive to boot. The only other models I've seen have been classical Greek style Amazons, not the Mesoamerican style warrior women that'd suit the ones I already have.
My current solution is to get a bunch of 40K Dark Eldar Wyches and perhaps some of the female characters and kit bash them together with whatever lizardmen bits I've got lying around. I reckon with their Old One relic rayguns and power swords, a slightly more sci-fi look could work. Has anyone here done/seen something similar, or have any suggestions for other models?
