| Hi again, because I had the feeling, my short questions weren’t that short, I was thinking about opening several threads for more complicated questions. First of all: Hiding! How does hiding even work? I quote from the “Short questions, short answers”-thread) - Quote :
- At all time, i would be in cover I can hide instead (if I didn't run). As long I don't give up this position or end in another position I would be in cover, I'm hidden. If I run, someone gets too close to me or if I
'm not in cover anymore I'm no longer hidden and can be seen and therefore can be shot? So, when actually I’m allowed to hide? - If my model is in cover for ALL enemy models’ line of sight? - If my model is in cover for at least one enemy model? Hiding means: As long as I’m hidden and haven’t run, my miniature cannot be shot by any enemy model? Sorry for this (seem-to-be) basic-question. In our game-group nobody knows exactly how it works. And it was never used yet, though I think I should use it a lot fighting Ostlanders with handguns and Reiklanders with BS 5 and long-bows with my beastmen! Best regards, Seikilos

| Don't know if it's a rule or our house rule, but if any enemy model can see your model not being in cover, he will yell to the others and give up the position, if he tries to hide. | |

- If my model is in cover for ALL enemy models’ line of sight? - If my model is in cover for at least one enemy model? It does not need to be line of sight. If you can end your move near something you can reasonably conceal yourself in/behind and meet the other hide requirements (didn't run, not stunned, didn't charge) you are hidden. Cover can be just a part of your models body not in view of an opponent. You can have cover behind a 4"/10cm diameter sign post but I would not say you could reasonably hide behind it. You could hide behind a hedge, large barrel, bush of sufficient size. Here is where you will need to agree on what is suitable for concealment. - Seikilos wrote:

He cannot be shot at and cannot be charged while hidden. - Benji wrote:

Agreed. While not explained in this context, this is how I see it, as being viewed by any enemy would prevent hiding. It is not on resolved by individual enemy models.
