| Okay I might be a bit mad at the moment so bear with me please. Since I got back into Mordheim the ideas just keeps coming to me, I personally blame that suspicious were creature known as Stu aka Rupert the Halfling. Anyway, I really wanted to try out the Merchant Caravan for some time but the slow campaign I'm staring with some friends and family hopefully will be more Marienburg centered, depending on the pace Liber Malefic reveals its secrets. However new possibilities have arisen in the for of an other gaming group. So new people, new warband. This project will be worked on when the Fimir leaves me with time, so a bit more slowly. But I'm already of to a good start and the halflings doesn't need nearly as much conversions or green stuffing. I really like the fat, lazy, avaricious halflings. But they just aren't Warhammer enough to me, they are cute little people who hangs out with Carebear and get them drunk. This is what halflings should look like to me, you have been warned. The Caravan The merchant The apprentice The trickster priest the knight vanguard the other knight vanguard The blackguard The marksman the beggar the thief The wagon | |

| My Caravan did so well in the first three games, no small thanks to TheEnemyWithin's excellent guide, that I could afford to hire an ogre bodyguard. Enter Bor One-Eye. The caravan is a bit different from most warbands since it puts a strong focus on the post game part. So far I have bought and sold and stolen axes, warhorses, stage coaches and holy tomes. Since the money part is starting to look strong with a thief and a beggar helping out I can now really focus on the muscle part. Soon everyone will know that this caravan takes what it wants. | |

| Mad you say...well may be, but in a good sort of way. The Halfings look like they're approaching the Dark Sun style of the genre; i.e, mean, vicious cannibals. I like your take on them; AND the minis, including One Eye, are TERRIFIC. If you can maintain the enthusiasm, your threads will be the source of much inspiration for moi & the Forum in general. | |

| @Alan - Thanks my friend. I sure hope to keep up they pace. It is a fact that gaming inspires modelling, and vice versa as well. Since I now have two wagons I have been eyeing the Ogre Stonehorn for a possible new wagon, but it looks a tad too pricey 'till I get my wage, oh how nice that will be @Joao - Thank you very much sir! It's an "old" trick I've been using to great effect to create twists and ratlings for Inq28. Check out the ammobunker for more stuff like that | |

| The caravan continues to roll in money, at the moment I'm employing 4 hired swords and still making a killing in the trading. My thief must have acquired a key to the local library because he always manage to provide me with holy tomes Some small modeling updates as well. the merchant, he has become quite deadly with his crossbow, 4 OoA to his name already the nipponesse knight vanguard a good sell-sword is always ready to hawk some goods, useful or not, to potential customers | |

| The surrogate Halfings look TERRIFIC in their own somewhat less than charming manner. The conversions & background fluff are VERY imaginative & creative. GREAT WORK! | |

| These are great, they remind me of "Goblin Market": Curious Laura chose to linger Wondering at each merchant man. One had a cat’s face, One whisk’d a tail, One tramp’d at a rat’s pace, One crawl’d like a snail, One like a wombat prowl’d obtuse and furry, One like a ratel tumbled hurry skurry. http://www.poetryfoundation.org/poem/174262 | |

| "A halfling merchant caravan rumbles into town" Hey I love Shirefolk, err Mootfolk? Let's have a look... Yikes! I always wanted more militaristic style halflings but yours are down right vicious. Very cool conversions and the wagon looks great. | |

| @Mike--have you seen these? Halflings are toward the beginning. http://www.lead-adventure.de/index.php?topic=22425.0@Alex--This warband reminds me of the Goblin fluff from Warhammer 4th edition: "Goblin tribes are often accompanied by huge caravans of scrap metal, captured monsters in crude wooden cages or even Men, Dwarves or Elves that they have trapped and enslaved." "Some Goblins become very wealthy by trading in this way and the tribe's King becomes exceedingly rich." | |
