| Hello! It's high time I started posting some stuff here, especially since I love visiting this forum all the time! For my group's Border Town Burning campaign, I decided to run a custom Wood Elves warband. Love the elves, so couldn't pass up an opportunity to use them. All of these are still a work in progress, and any critiques or tips are welcome! I'm mostly aiming for dull tones over them (considering they would want to blend into any wooded/forested/grassy landscapes) with the exception of the Spellsinger. Lots of leather/brown colors as well, I don't think Wood Elves would be into using Imperial or Cathayan style fabrics! Oh, and you can find the rules I use for this warband in the thread located here. Waywarden (Leader) Spellsinger Wild Hunter Pathfinder Glade Guard Wardancers Ghost Strider (Hired Sword) There's still a bit to do across the board, especially making the leaves/greens look a little more natural foresty green. Barely started on the Wardancers as well.

| Your colors are great, cant wait to see more. I would be interested in what list yo may be using for wood elves and how they fare in your campaign. Thanks for sharing! | |

| Although I'm not a fan of G.W.'s Pointy Eared Ones, yours are LOOKIN' GOOD...I love the shades of green you chose. Keep up the FINE WORK! | |

Cheers, still working on them! The bases are from Micro Art Studio, bought them as soon as I saw them. Too good to pass up! - DeafNala wrote:

Agreed, I feel GW's version of the Wood Elves as they stand now are a little too 'stationary' looking, particularly for elves who are supposed to be able to run, shoot and frollic through the glades with gay abandon. Which is why I used the Wych legs instead of the ones included on the sprue. Far more agile looking now! | |
