| Dear lord that cost is truly outrageous imo. Still compared to the new finecast stuff I suppose it could be considered to be very cheap | |

| Hi Ducat,
I would have, this time last year, completely agreed with you! But having chased Sisters of Sigmar for the last 5 or 6 months, it's actually pretty good...
The Augur alone sells for £30+
Depressing stuff. Sellers market with OOP.

| It is the only official warband I still have left for Mordheim. I may have to sell them off as the poor girls have sat unplayed for many a year in their draw.....
I have lots of Empire Nuln army, and an outrageous amount of Dark ages stuff now, so I can easily field other bands for Mordheim if we ever come back to it (which has a high chance as the "boys" are looking to start some Warhammer using 6th Edition rules.....

| Asking £70?! I wonder how much that actually went for? I joined this forum after someone on flameon pointed me here, precisely because I wanted to be sure my Mordheim stuff would be sold to someone who actually plays Mordheim, and not just get hoovered up by these resellers who ask the frankly laughable price of £70 a warband. Auctions tend to go for £35, but then half the time said same lots get relisted by these price gouging ****s. Anyway I know it seems dodgy for someone to appear claiming to be selling Mordheim models in their first post but hopefully someone from flameon can vouch for me/cross reference me with my trades on dakkadakka (Mecha).
Is it acceptable for me to post pictures in the next week or so, and whats the normal value of these figures - i.e not artifically inflated by ebay resellers? I took my sisters to Vapnartak on sunday and only sold one, and that was at £3.50 a figure :S

| From chatting to people at vapnartak common consensus is the gougers ask stupidly high prices, so that people make 'best offers' based on their sky-high price, not what the figures actually go for in personal auctions (as opposed to the buy-it-now/best offer listings, which traders use). I havent counted it just yet - at the time we got into it me and my friends all bought two boxes of our chosen warband, so we had spares for converting weapon loadouts, I believe I have one and a half boxes but I have like three more bits boxes to sift through as I should have at least one of the figure with two hammers - she was in the warband box set right? Im not just going mad here am I? :S I have a hunch I bought the remaining bits of my friends undead and witchhunters when they dropped out of the hobby, but all thats turned up is the cardpoard boxes! Search continues - this is what Ive found so far: | |

| Sadly it's a bit of a sellers market. I've been lucky with my buys on eBay getting some really good deals not far off the old RRP! Hence my experience in the prices of Sisters of Sigmar Keep us up to date with how your search goes! Pitty I have so many sisters now lol. Could make a second warband though... or use parts to convert. How much are you looking for per sister? | |

| See above, 3.50-ish. Figured my mate sold his warband recently and got 35 for the complete box.
I dont think its really a sellers market - its just that the price gouging b*stard full time ebay traders, can literally sit on their arses watching ebay all day everyday, and buy up every rare model auction they see, as they can outbid everyone else because they have loads of money: from buying up every rare model they see and doubling the price. You just have to go to a convention and browse second hand stuff to see the vast gulf between 'actual value' and 'inflated by greed and hyperbole' prices. ('SUPER RARE OOP OMG ROGUE TRADER FROM THA 80'S £100-ONO snotling'). It's like the housing market, the only people that can afford to buy are the same rip-off landlords who already pushed the price so high anyway.

| Well, i know exactly what you´re talking about, browsing ebay everyday, just to find some oldschoolminis for a acceptable price. And it sometimes happends, but speaking of those full time ebay traders, well, i keep it that way: Take it or leave it. Every day there´s for sure someone on this earthball who is willing to pay such prices. So, if you really want to own the chaos dwarf " ass cannon"( super hard to get item), well, pay the requested 400 or even 500.- pounds or dont, its that easy. Its the traders right to ask whatever he or she thinks its worth to them, and if someone is paying the price, well, they were right about it. Dont mix gamers and collectors together, thats almost everytime two pair of shoes. _________________ Lord Flasheart: And always remember - if you want something, take it! Bobby! | Ha, never really thought of 'collectors' as being a thing - I'm so obsessed with flogging what I dont use, whether thats minis, or clothes/furniture/'life' stuff.
I now don't know whether to create a new thread now to sell my sisters? :S

Yeah... I bidded £40... which was waaaay over what I wanted to pay, but was willing to pay.
I got beat. Seeing these... I'm looking for someone who owns or knows someone who owns these rare sisters (unpainted). I don't want to buy them, but have the way to "make more of them", so they could be avilable for mordheimers. I already have the novice with hood and the larger weapon sprue. So if anybody is interested please PM me. Thanx
