| VERY IMPRESSIVE! That is some masterful woodworking; most Folks just glue wooden strips to the foam or cardboard buildings. Building from the frame out is taking the beasty to another level. Keep up the FINE WORK...I for one will be following your progress with rapt attention. | |

| Looks like its time for me to step away from the "glue the wood on the foam core" level and try my hand at frame building. I have visions of gluing fingers to wood and the table at the same time Seriously nice work. I cant wait to see what you do with it! Keep up the good work. | |

| Thanks a lot guys for some nice words :-) What now? I'm finishing frames to second building - two floors, and much more closed that first one - and I hope that much more faultless also. I've enjoined so much the building process that I forgot it should be ruined :-) Then - I'll finished them both making walls and floors - and then the big garner project is waiting :-) (3-4 floors, the crane, etc :-) something like this http://www.turystyka.torun.pl/upload/image/zuraw291212p.png - it's original one) I enjoy woodwork so much - after so many years in plastic, it's so refreshing. | |

Well, that's normally how most people build their buildings. I would like to see him filling in all those blank squares with foamboard. Seems like a lot more work |

| Gosh, that's so professional! Does this mean that you will build the interiors too? What's the actual purpose for this level of detail?

Interiors won't be so detailed. I assume, that Mordheim - The City of the Damned is in ruin, and is a place where warbands fight each other. I don't think anyone would spend there night simply sleeping and camping. My assumption is that warbands live on Mordhiem suburbs - outside the City in camps, near forest etc. and the Town itself is desolated. There are houses, that are generally robbed, so putting there cupboards, beads, chairs etc. isn't the point. Maybe after finishing whole town, I'll try to put some destroyed furniture, but that will be all. - JoaoS wrote:

And that's very difficult question to answer :-) maybe because I'd like to see so detailed Mordheim table? Maybe because I love middle-ages and XVI-XVII'th ages architecture? Maybe everything form above :-) The truth is that I like working in wood, and I'm big fun of architecture (I'm MA in Archaeology with architecture specialization), so I think it explain a lot :-) ...and I don't like to pretend that something is something else, which in fact it isn't - if I have resources to make it more real, I do it more real. I was for years model maker (1/72 & 1/35) before starting to play Warhammer/Mordheim/WH40k. Love to details isn't something you can rid off so easily :-) And last thing - I build few years back few houses from cardboard and form plastic card and they where too fragile. My wood construction is very strong. If you know something about architecture you probably know that openwork/framed construction is much stronger than flat surface, even if it looks fragile, that's why bridges and sky scrapers have openwork/framed construction. | |

| Impressive! It makes me want to try the same sort of thing, I'm currently contemplating a Viking Longhouse for SAGA, so it may be the ideal candidate. | |
