| Even with just after a few posts I can easily say you're one of the best artists when it comes to bricks and stonework on foam. Your work is outstanding!
By the way, what colours did you use for the bricks? They look extremely realistic!

Joao I've usually mix the paint, that's depend of project. For bricks I've used dark brown base, after that - two mixed colours (from Louvre palette - first layer[drybrush]: Burnt Sienna+JapaneseRed; second: BurntSienna+JapaneseRed+SaharaYellow). " /> " /> Next goes white wash - to get in the gap and softly change the colour of bricks. Finally, gently touch some bricks of second layer paint and black. And that's how I make my bricks(note guys - I've done bricks first time)

| The Walls & Tower are coming along SPLENDIDLY...that is a FINE way of making a Tower. The doors have a proper old fortress look to them. GREAT WORK! | |

| Awesome! Thanks for the info on the paintwork for the bricks!
The fortification is looking amazing indeed. I love the way you've mastered the stonework with the foam - each single bit of the building looks unique, as opposed to so many plastic kits where everything is even and neat. I'll be curious to see how you will create the base for the wall.

| How did you do the small dots on the doors? Is it just painted glue? I've tried to work with small round pieces of plasticcard, but it gets too fiddly. A Punching machine was the best I could get, but the holes are to big. And if you use too much pressure, you've got a real hole and not iron rivets | |

Yes, dots are made of white glue. Under the cap is a little thicker (if you do not use long or you no turn the bottle up side down) " /> " />

| Simply amazing! I really admire your Paintjob on the brickwork - it looks very realistic! May I ask how you came about warping the foam around the cardboard cylinders? I tend to crack mine when I attempt to do it.. Keep up the very nice work! | |
