I will be rolling to recruit the witch hired sword and want to know if they get a skills list to use on advancements. The description doesn't list one.
They could roll for another charm/hex but would they get at least academic skills as well, maybe another skill set?
Most groups allow Academic skills in addition to new spells. We've been playing her with just additional spells for a few campaigns and she is still popular. With her potions the Witch adds plenty to a warband.

Some people claim that her spells are slightly OP so I have always wondered if the lack of skills was deliberate. It is interesting to see that your group is playing that way, VK.

Thanks for the input, I considered both views. If the group votes to limit her to just the spells for skill increases I would be fine with that as I like her even as written.
