Ethlorien's Pit Fighter Warband

Just wanted to share my Pit Fighter warband. Older pic, but it's all I have right now. Seeing all the pictures on the forum, figured I should just bombard everyone with my own today.

I think this if the first pit fighter warband I've ever seen. They look great. Definitely should be fun to play with. I love the wolverine claws.

Are these all GW minis?

Oh boy . . . lots of games now. Not all my warriors are there - the rest I never got around to painting...yet. Haven't used them in a while, to be honest, as the few games I do get in lately are with my Marauder warband from the BTB campaign. Always loved the warlock - adds good magic to a close combat warband, the Arabyan Merchant has always appealed to me.

I'm torn between the Warlock & the Merchant for Group Favorite. The Merchant is one of those minis I always meant to pick up, & never did. C'est la vie, eh!? A VERY attractive Warband; THANKS FOR SHARING!

Very nice pitfighters, Ethlorien. It's nice to see them, too, because not many people play them. Is it because they're an all metal warband? That would explain the relative scarcity of Sister of Sigmar as well.

The warband looks great, though. Nice crisp painting, and seeing the Arabian Merchant is a little painful for me. Like Deafnala, I meant to pick up one of them for AGES, and now they're gone.

Oh, well. It's great to see it in such a nice warband!

Thanks for all the nice comments. I'll try and take some more pics later, some up close ones and such. Perhaps a few shots of the rest of the warband. They're not painted but they're far more converted then these fellows. Bought them in two batches - so had to change the second boxed set so they wouldn't all look identical.

Pit king is Glythégdren, the big fellow with the two-handed sword. I know, not the best weapon in Mordheim, but I'm a sucker for a massive sword.

Didn't realize the Merchant was discontinued to be honest. I should have a look at the Sentry Box some time to see if they have him. The Mordheim section is smaller, but they do still have a fair stock of minis. Bought that Marianna Chevaux DP not too long ago...
