Spectre's Dwarf Warband: a start

Got my grubby little hands on some dwarf minis at my LGS not too long ago. All I need are some slayers and some more beardlings, and I can have another warband to play with:




I'll put up a topic in the "Trading" section too, but if anyone reading this has some plastic Dwarves they're looking to get rid of, I have all sorts of stuff to trade!

So far so good, nice and clean paintjob, like the choice of colours!

Really nice work on the metalics. I lose the grey beards in all of the silver.

Bit of thread-o'mancy here, but it's been a while since I put paint to brush, and figured I'd share what I've been working on.
Some Dwarf Clansmen (the middle will make a great LGT hero)

Some others with 2-handed Axes

A couple of Heroes.

And a trio of Thunderers with Crossbows.


Not quite finished with all the smaller details, and I still need to do the bases with sand and static grass, but I'm pretty happy with the overall look so far.

Some of the lads at my LGS and I have started a new campaign set in Lustria, and despite losing a Clansman henchman before he could get his next advancement, these stout adventurers have served me quite well!

Nice work on the dwarfs! Good to see you painting again (says the guy who hasn't painted a mini in a great while...)

 

I'm glad you resurrected the thread...I missed it the first time around. As V.K. says, you get a nice depth to your metallics. GREAT WORK!
