| Mantic is releasing a Basilean Sisterhood regiment between june and august and they look a lot like another type of well known sisters. In fact they loook really good! I know which warband I'll start next this summer... link | |

| I love Mantic models. I recently picked up a dwarf vs undead starter set of $40! It was a steal. I am starting a dwarven warband from that one.
Their upcoming Ogres look good as well. Unfortunately, I did not get in on their Kickstarter. I will have to pick up those models through their website or some other online store.

| The Holy Babes are not bad looking at all. Those Ogres, however, are OUTSTANDING! EXCELLENT FIND, Captain! | |

| I figured I would share the pictures that I found of the Ogres. These look great too! Much better than GW's Ogres (and I really like those). Hero/Lord (I think): Ogre Troops1: Ogre Troops2: | |

| Fantastic ogre minis, i agree, but those sisters, mmm, i would stick to the originals.I am not a big fan of mantic minis, far too true to citadel minis, not the gw as it is now, but since the mantic guys brought up those super ugly dwarfs and orcs i dont like ´em. But hurray for their ogres and trolls, really outstanding, since not so manticish. _________________ Lord Flasheart: And always remember - if you want something, take it! Bobby! | I like the minis I hate the fact that they are TRUE 28mm and therefore way too small compared to any other 28mm miniature out there (that is heroic (e.g. the entire GW range lol).
Would work fine for people using true scale 28s though.

| It's true that their dwarfs are, well ugly, but that's a matter of taste and I know some people like them. Their quality is great however! Their hybrid abyssal dwarfs are a pain in the butt to assemble but their goblins and undead are gorgeous figures! I don't have any real life experience with any of their other races but I agree those trolls are looking to good to pass out on! for the first time now we get a plastic box superbly suited for sisters, I mean with the plastic you can make any figuration you want. I mean no longer looking high and low for that delusive Augur model at uninmaginable prices. SIsters have become quick, easy and affordable to collect. And allthough those citadel sisters look sweet, those novices are quite boring to look at... here's another pic of their trolls: oh and that true 28mm scale really isn't an issue at all! take a look at these pictures: Only their orcs are noticebly smaller but if you keep them to their own units you can get away with it. And since orc heroes are supposed to look bigger you got no problem at all | |

| Yep, those ogres and trolls look like the best thing Mantic has come up with so far.
The biggest issue I have with Mantic models is the lack of variation in poses and heads/arms options. I saw that with the dwarfs and undead. Let's hope they don't do the same with the sisters and ogres.

| Wow, if somebody would have shown me the pics of the troll and made me guess who sculpted it, I'd have said "Someone who got fired at Rackham a couple of years ago". So while the dwarfs and elves are really ugly imo, the undead weren't just a positive slip-up. Mantic is very much alive with this one! Thanks for sharing! | |

| @grimscull: Jap, exactly my thoughts about the troll, looks like the gaint beast that is ridden by sulfur, one of my fav troll modells! _________________ Lord Flasheart: And always remember - if you want something, take it! | Wow !
Those ogres are cool.. Now I regret I bought the GW ogre battalion...
I do like Mantic minis but they are not of equal quality with games workshop however. Metal minis have many mold lines and the scale isn't perfect... still, for the price !
I bought an immortal guard regiment with the leader pack and the orc slave regiment (chaos dwarves) for 50$(CAN) and they are really good for the price. However, I bought their elves and I really don't like them ; they are too thin and very fragile (and WTF archer are doing with shields???).
Their undeads looks cool however and their dwarves aren't so bad (I always tought that GW dwarves were M. Potato things). Their orcs are acceptable but their gobbos are cool !
I'll keep an eye open for those female mini just in case ... lets hope they will not be as thin as their elves.
In the end, tough I wanted to turn my back on GW... I must tell that no miniatures best their quality (Except forge world but they are totally overpriced). If I was buying a warband, without concern for the price, I'd go with them. Reaper miniatures would be my seconds ( individual minis for 5$!) and finally Mantic. However, if I was looking for something cheap, I'd turn on to Mantic, but I'd be more careful as I'm totally disappointed by the elves).
Good shopping friends !
