Hey guys,
After sulking around on this forum for quite a while, I thought it was about time to introduce myself. I’m 34 from the Netherlands and not a fanatical gamer at all, in fact it’s YEARS ago since my last game! But that’s OK since I’m more interested in the hobby aspects such as painting and scenery making.
My addiction to Mordheim dates back to the very beginnings of the game, i.e. since the concept was introduced in the pages of White Dwarf 223 (August 1998!). It was love at first sight and since that day Mordheim is my favourite GW game. I’ve collected quite some miniatures but my warband of choice is the Undead, in fact I’ve never played anything else, though I do feel the urge to create something new now.
Like I said, I’m more interested in the hobby aspect, especially the scenery making, which keeps me occupied from time to time. As with most gamers this “hobby frenzy” comes in waves, where months of inactivity are followed by some weeks of frantic scenery-making, where all my room gets covered in cardboard, foamboard, balsa, glue, paint, tools, half-finished ruins, beer-bottles and Pringles cans (although I have never used Pringles cans for scenery).
The funny thing is that some of my projects have been sitting in a box for years, waiting for inspiration or time to be finished. I’m riding on a scenery-making wave currently, so I hope to be showing you some pictures of both WIP and finished projects shortly.
Greetings!
