| If the Emissary of the battle monks warband takes the war monger skill (adds d3+1 raging peasants to warband before each battle gaining hatred), does that hatred apply to all raging monks or only the ones that have been summoned?
For example: The warband has 15 members. 4 of them are raging peasants. Before the battle, the emissary summons an additional 3 raging peasants. The rules state that each raging peasant has hatred. I would assume that the hatred only applies to the summoned peasants, but I wanted to check with you guys.
On another note, the peasants are so cheap that I am leaning toward using them until I can fill out the warband with soldiers and warrior monks.
Current warband: Emissary Officer Dragon Monk x3 Warrior Monkx3 Soldier x 3
Soon to add Raging peasants x4

| BTB p. 156 The skill states "Each Raging Peasant in the warband is subject to Hatred for the duration of the battle." this would include the 0-5 Raging peasants u can purchase for the warband.
THis will also help game play as you dont need to distinguish between those summoned and those purchased.

| I would keep them separate. It will not matter ultimately, the raging peasants do not count toward casualties. | |

| Who were auto killed?
The 'free' peasants are only for one game so there is no need to roll for them, although we usually roll for 'free' models just to have casualty counts.
The need to keep track of which peasants are part of the warband and which are 'free' is as stated above to keep track of possible injuries (and experience in scenarios where henchmen can gain experience for something other than survival.)

| One note of caution about summoning the raging peasants. They are easy xp for any other attacking warband! I have found that it is nice to have the extra bodies, but they have to get their charge off in order to be effective.
Even then, they are very easily killed by the models they face.
