| I have made a fresh start on my undead warband. After viewing lots of the amazing sculpting on this forum I wanted to extend my greenstuff and converting skills a bit further. I have only completed two dregs so far and I have no idea where to go with the vampire but I want him to be kitbashed. If anyone has an inspiration please do share. I have unintentionally made them very cartoonish. I guess that realistic sculpting is a whole nother level of difficulty. My colour scheme is red and black. [img][/img] | |

| ....... The Dregs look a bit like Wallace and Gromit! Oh well, as long as the vamp comes up nice and imposing. Here are my direwolves so far. I love these models so much that I felt that no conversion was necessary. Obviously they don't have that "undead" appearance but I don't mind. Wait out on 3rd dreg, vamp, nec, ghouls and zombies. | |

| Excellent sculpts, the dregs are a fine example of the time honoured tradition of keeping misfits as servants! I like that you used the fenrisian wolves as dire wolves, technically that is what a dire wolf is. I don't really like the current zombie wolves so I might just steal pay homage to your idea - Ed wrote:

| These are FANTASTIC! As a cartoony/surrealistic Old Man, these really appeal to moi. The Wolves &, especially, the Dregs are BEAUTIFULLY painted... GREAT conversion work on the Dregs. VERY WELL DONE! | |

| Amazing paint job on those dire wolfs. Hehe you're right about the dregs resembles Wallace and Gromit I think it works very well as I have always pictured the dregs as some goofy submissive servants of the vampire. You can indeed be very proud of your work! | |

| The wolf-models and paintjobs are nice, but I DEFINITELY love the kitbashing on the Dreggs most. What heads did you use? The torsi are skaven? And the legs on the second one - Goblin? | |

| Thanks everyone for the feedback. I have some good ideas for the vamp and I'll be getting him together when I find the time.
Grimscull: Dreg 1 is crypt ghoul head, skaven body, zombie legs, malitia arms (I think), long swords dagger and some arrows. The rest is green stuff.
Dreg 2 is crypt ghoul head, skaven body, malitia arms, not sure where quiver is from and greenstuff.
I had some fun with them and I'll make a third one of course. | |

| I have finally completed my vampire. I thought that I would start with a WIP pic to demonstrate how it was sculpted. I am not good enough to scratch build but I aim to continue to incorporate more and more greenstuff into the minis. | |

| Introducing Count Vladislav Tiranul: I wanted to create a unique and imposing vampire. This fella is pretty big. He is on a chaos warrior base and stands substantially taller than a human. In terms of fluff; Count Tiranul is blood crazed and obsessed with his own mastery of combat. In life he was dedicated to physical training and perfection of his combat abilities. His unstable demeanour made him unsuitable for the military so he sought the violent streets of Mordheim where he thrived as a hired sword. Vladislav was hired by a mercenary warband which was slaughtered by an undead faction lead by a Von Carstein Count. The vampire was impressed by the warrior’s display of aggression in destroying multiple ghouls and singlehandedly slaying a direwolf during the conflict. When Vladislav was the last man standing he pleaded with the Vampire to grant him the power of immortality and the physical abilities that his mortal body could not achieve. Appreciating the potential of such a soldier, the Count granted Vladislav’s request in return for his service for the Von Carstein family. Now Count Vladislav Tiranul, a brute of a Vampire, loyally serves the Von Carsteins and continues to develop as a warrior. He relishes in the violence that his new form can inflict. As always comments and feedback are welcome. | |
