Having seen some orc pirate warbands (Warboss Kurgans probably being the most famous), i was wondering which rules people use for creating the warband. Are you using the normal orc rules as posted in white dwarf 243 or are you using the ones from the mordheimer site http://www.mordheimer.com/downloads/un_wrbnds/Pirates_Warband.pdf ?

Warboss Kurgan uses standard Mordheim rules for orcs. If you want real pirate orcs theni think I recall that Styrofoam King may have given some adjustment rules for orcs in Sartosa.

RL is right. I just use normal "Da Mob Rules" for my pirates. I model them with pistols and stuff but I count them as clubs (and crossbows later in the campaign). I have never felt the need for any extra stuff to be honest.

(weird to think that my Pirate Orcs are "famous" when so few of the gamers in Manchester GW have ever seen them before when I play there!)

StyrofoamKing has written a warband for Pirate Greenskins and has rules on his Sartosa site for adapting the normal orc warband in a Sartosan campaign. These are obviously not official.

You have to look for them, though they are in Addons I think...
