Hi all!
I'm 32 years old and live currently in Oslo, Norway. I started playing D&D in -87 and Warhammer Fantasy RPG in -88, using miniatures mainly for the tactical aspect of killing monsters in endless cave-scenarios.
Gaming faded out but I still painted the odd miniature now and then before the paint was stowed away some years ago (studies and job). I recently dug out my old Citadel painting set (where "orc brown" was one of the colours) and really enjoyed it.
A GW employee in Oslo recommended Mordheim as a fun game and I'm looking forward to try it. I've read the rules and found this forum as I was searching for good examples of scenery. I used to make some small scenery using papier mache, paint and what nature provided (small rocks, pine-cones, dust). I did not model buildings.
I started in my new job today (after studying some more) so the weekend was probably not the best of times to start building my city. I have recently refurbished the bathroom and have very good acess to different building materials. I build my models following the Norwegian "Wet room norm" so I'm not worried about leaks
Anywho... I have lurked these forums for some days, and I really like the tone and how people are both helpful and excited about modelling and painting and am looking forward to post some of my projects.
(Not too soon, I'm afraid as there are some hectic weeks ahead of me.)
(Sorry for the long post)
