Hows the scenarios plotting going by the way?

You should steal the starship troopers rules, and play a marines vs in a fort. marines have to win though due to fluff and GW selling value.

Actually we are doing something similiar to starship troopers, we use imperial guard.

It wa a fun but tough two games. We also use 40k rules so we are not using the SH rules.

I am working on a scenario where a platoon of IG must get into one of the SHs and plant a bomb and get out in so many turns while the GeneStealers or other creatures may be attacking them. (Halo adventure)

The other one is on spores and a group of IG walk into a room of spores and they must get out of the ship before the spores Hatch (Aliens Movie).

I get the Fan Foam from Home Depot or Lowes.

The thought of making up a SH version of The Floating Vagabond Intergalactic Bar & Grill RPG just popped into my head for a 40K barroom brawl. Though, something like that might be better with the Inquisitor rules or may be Necromunda.

There are a few rules for bar fights. One is posted on SG games and Mordheim has at least two published.

Just built a 8 x 14 room out of foam core. Marked out the squares (like you would have on the Space Hulk Tiles) Built a small computer area out of foamcore and some printable PDF stuff I found that was supposed to have been the bridge off the USS enterprise.

It looks ok, for my first and quickly put together scenery.

I hope to post pictures later.

Played a scenario involving the IG going to teh control room and setting a charge to blow up the ship. Unfortunately, none of the IG made it off the ship but they did manage to blow it up. LOL.

We are going with mostly 40K rules, Mordheim/Necro Advances and some role playing.

And no I am no wearing a dress!

@Eliazar: THAT REALLY is cool terrain, thanks for the link thingy! Viewed from above, the Gene Steales bear a remarkable resemblence to the Cooties from the venerable Cootie Bug Game.

@Da Bank: Back in the WD from Sept. - Nov. 2004, & Jan. 2005, they featured a series of WHFB articles on Warbands of up to 500 pts. with character advancement, wounds tables ["borrowed" from Mordheim], & revised rules to accommodate the smaller number of minis used. I've been using these for slightly larger & moderately easier games in the Mordheim setting. They might give you some additional ideas for your SH project [or not ].

I have found some great resources on BGG.

Solo Mordheim would be another great aspect of the but unfortunately and entirely my fault I never pursued it. I have still thought about it and would like to get more down on paper on it.
