Hi Everybody,

I'm not much of a terrain person, but my friend is very good. Here are some pics of the terrain we've been working on. He is responsible for almost all of it. I just made a few sections of sewage canal.

COOL STUFF! thumbsup

I really like the canals, kind of Amsterdamish, AND all the little bridges. Looks to be a fun gaming board. Following its progress would be great! SO GET CRACKING!

Hey looks like my terrain has already got some photo time here! Thanks Uber!

Currently on my table is the well, almost done, and the big black ruined building. The later will probably take a few weeks to finish.

As promised my first pic!

Actually yes, quite fun. If you fall in from above or fail your initive on the jump you are officially in the drink! Immediately roll 2D6 as the current pulls you downstream. In your recovery phase you make a strength check to get out. If you fail the current pulls you another 2D6 downstream. This continues until you successfully get out or make it to the end where you are considered taken out of action and must roll on the injury table! Who knows what horrors await you in the sewers below!

lol! Nice, thats a great description. Also since they are all brown right now we affectionately refer to it as the poo canal! You don't want your models falling into the poo canal...

lol! The canal has brought a lot of smiles to our gaming group. My favorite moment was when a Skaven player's Assassin Adept was put out of action after falling in the pooh and then rolled horrible scars on the injury table. We joked the he was so encrusted with feces that we would need to pass a fear test get near him. lol!

lol!

If the Poo Canal was REALLY as bad as the Pasiak River, you'd have to come up with Instantaneous Mutation Rules. Suspect

Hey again! Here's my latest work in progress. I had some left over foamcore from making all those card buildings in the last few weeks so I made this beast! It's from the town cryer in issue 239 I think. There's a great terrain article with a couple pics of something close to this:

Sorry, the pics are all red, my dining room has red walls which make for bad lighting, but I had to get some shots as soon as it was finished!

I always wanted to build such a building (I think there is one in the Mordheim rulebook?) but never got around actually doing it... until now Smile

Awesome work, and it certainly fills some table Wink

That huge building is excellent work and the whole table looks like a hell of a lot of fun to play on. I love the canal rules too, they sound like a lot of fun although I pity the poor Dwarf that gets caught near them. I can see a lot of beards getting clagged with poo during that battle...

I imagine it was originally 2 separate homes which were slowly added onto by building the upper levels. Then the richer of the 2 bought out the other and decided to connect the buildings with a couple of room spanning the gap. Then he would be able to have his shop in one and his home in the other and he wouldn't have to go outside to go home late at night. Less chance for thieves to get a hold of his well earned gold!

Wow! that is so much better than the example in the article you used for inspiration! Man the things that can be done with foam board and balsa wood are amazing.

How tall are the walls of each story,2" 2.5"??

I am surveying people b/c i am in the planning process of my own terrain collection.
