Highlights on Turn 2:

Dwarves (lil' Chris) Vs. Lizardmen random
Lizardmen got massacred in turn 2 because they drew the alley fight scenario

Undeads (Mario) Vs. Dwarves random
Undead voluntarily routed with no members died, managed to get an Ogre bodyguard as reward from exploration (666 FTW!)

Orcs (Neal) Vs. Skavens random
Orcs wiped the Skaven off, 3 Goblins would've died due to Lad's Got Talent (Neal rolled 11, 12, 12!!) but the rule says after the first death, the other ones don't count!

Dark Elves (Christian) Vs. Reiklanders random
The Dark Elves won the fight but not without paying a high price. The High Born (Leader) is unfortunately killed off, but the Sorceress proudly take over his spot (leveled up as well!)

Carnival of Chaos (Mark) Vs. Dwarves random
The Carnival dominated and the leader was down and suffered 5 injuries. Miraculously he survived (rolled 53, 55, 55, 55) and managed to gain a horrible scar, he is now causes FEAR!

Dwarves (Michael) Vs. Carnival random
Dwarves waltz in and fend them off nicely. All members of the Dwarves leveled up!

Skaven (big Chris) Vs. Middenheimers random
Skaven won the fight, not without the Shaman getting captured!! They had to ransom him off for 10gc!

Reiklanders (Morgan) Vs. Beastmen random
Reiklanders won and the Youngblood killed off a beastmen beautifully with a dagger!

Nice venue to play in! Thanks for all the photos of the action.

Are the warbands involved only fighting NPC warbands? Do you take turns playing the 'random' warband or by random do you mean that you choose your opponents randomly?

If the warband moves into a territory that is empty, they will fight a random warband that consist of:
Week 1 - 5 : 200gc worth of 2 heroes and 3 henchmen
Week 6 - 10 : 250gc worth of 2 heroes and 4 henchmen
Week 11 - 15 : 300gc worth of 3 heroes and 4 henchmen

and to represent the random warband, you can use any warband (except Shadow Warriors) as long as you have models to represent them (no proxy).

So a lot of people bring in their extra warbands just to try out how they play

Undead (Matt) Vs. Random lizardmen
no routing, lizardmen blood all over the street! The cold blooded kind managed to injure 2 ghouls but they survived!

Undead (Mario) Vs. Random dwarves
the dwarves got wiped off of the table! Ogre bodyguard wasted 30gc by not killing/shooting/doing anything!

Dwarves (Little Chris) Vs. Random chaos dwarves
blunderbuss from hell! but the good dwarves fend of their chaos cousin off of the building!

Carnival of Chaos (Mark) Vs. Random chaos dwarves
The chaos dwarves literally got driven off of the table! pics on the forum

Dwarves (Michael) Vs. Random marienburgers
Who knew dwarves can walk so far! The Dwarves got off the territory with 11 shards

Reiklanders (Morgan) Vs. Random lizardmen
Wyrdhunt gone right! They got off with 8 wyrdstone at the end, and the youngblood levelled up 2x!

Chaos Dwarves (Dan) Vs. Random dwarves
Awesome territorial fights! Chaos Dwarves routed their good cousins off of the table

Orcs & Goblins (Neal) Vs. Random marienburgers
Climbing squigs! They played on the Necromunda table and a Marienburger sniper with crossbow finished off lots of greenskins!

Outlaws of Stirwood Forest Vs. Random lizardmen
The lizards were routed down to their last man in the alley fight that they had

oh and remeber, if you want cool laser cut markers for your warband post the illustrator file here. remeber simple black and white, i'm not going to do rastering it costs $$. i'm doing 1 large marker for your current position and a small markers for your territory marker. try to make them the same design as to not confuse anybody.

Undead (Mario) Vs. Random Orcs (Neal)
Nothing much happened, we both failed in rolling a lot of times but the zombies did not die at all! Vampire now has Sprint so he can charge at 18". WATCH OUT!

Orcs (Neal) Vs. Random Middenheimers (Mario)
Orcs routed the Middenheimers but failed to grab the building in the center so no extra wyrdstone bonus for the Orcs. The Orcs managed to hire a Troll afterwards

Undead (Matt) Vs. Reiklanders (Morgan) - our first official warband Vs. warband!
At first it was almost a one sided battle, but the Undead came back. The Reiklanders routed the Undead, but it was a close game

Dwarves (Small Chris) Vs. Chaos Dwarves (Dan)
The Chaos Dwarves ran away and hid their tails. They choose to take an empty territory from a random warband

Chaos Dwarves (Dan) Vs. Random Skaven (Small Chris)
Not much happened here, but the Chaos Dwarves manage to take on the territory!

Dwarves (Michael) Vs. Outlaws of Stirwood Forest (Garrett)
Surprisingly with the Dice God's blessing, the Dwarves didn't look to tough to take out! Big proof that more shooters = better! The Outlaws were the underdog, but did not suffer a single out of action

Carnival of Chaos (Mark) Vs. Skaven (Big Chris)
The Carnival failed to take on the Skaven territory as they lost their last Nurgling and forced to rout

Skaven (Big Chris) Vs. Random Orcs (Jacob)
A goblin's failed charge after a failed animosity roll proved to be a bad combination as he got taken out by a Warp Pistol in the face!

Orcs (Jacob) Vs. Random Marienburgers (Matt)
With 3 henchmen died to these fashionably rich men or Marienburg, the Orcs still seized the day!

Dark Elves (Christian) Vs. Random Dwarves (Michael)
Another proof that anything can happen in Mordheim! The Dwarves did manage to kill 1 henchmen but the DE still took the Pleasure District. Sorry boys, the chicas already long gone after Mordheim crumbled.

OUCH. Lots of open ground against Stirwood archers? Not surprised with the results! Cool battle video, though. Hope to see more of these!

Our AWESOME TABLE!

Highlights:

Vampire got taken out with a roll of 3 consecutive 6s by an Orc boy, lost a Dire Wolf and a Ghoul at post game, but a Ghoul became a hero! Voluntarily routed after taking each other out with the Orcs & Goblins

Orc & Goblins(Jacob) got routed by the Undead, suffered 2 losses, and Animosity chances are very apparent this round!

Dwarves (Lil Chris) ran off the board and routed, was getting harassed a lot by the Reiklanders who deployed next to them

Reiklanders maintained their composure and shot of a lot of people and finally routing the Carnival. 2nd warband that manage to run off with the chest

Carnival of Chaos, Strongman got taken out by a lucky arrow from an Undead Dreg! Suffered 4 casualty at post game, but managed to kill of a Reiklander and gave them a hard time before voluntarily routing

Skavens dominated the first 5 turns of the game, killing the Giant in 1 shooting phase, and ran off with 2 bags of gold and 1 treasure chest. Unfortunately routing at 3 inches off of the table when their numbers gets decimated by the Dwarves and Reiklanders

Dwarves (Michael) is the WINNER! They "ran" (with their stubby legs) off with 1 treasure chest and 2 bag of golds. They didn't a lot of loot sadly!

Very cool reports! Sounds like it was a lot of fun.

Seven warbands on one board was insane. At least I was able to hassle the Reiklanders for a couple rounds before having to flee. The strongman will return, mark my words... lol.

Bummed I had to miss yesterday.
Looking forward to claiming more slaves for the glory of Hashut!

If it makes you feel better, one of my Big'uns rolled up a skill for his level up, and I gave him strongman. Haha.
