| Hi, Do you randomly determine a hero from amongst those who don't cast spells/prayers, or does the spell get disregarded if the randomly determined hero can cast spells/prayers. I would think that they intended the former, but it's not clear. - Quote :
3 Foresight Difficulty 10 The Changer of the Ways pulls the strings of destiny to protect his servants. This spell must be used before the game and may only be used once. Choose a warband. One randomly determined Hero of that warband must miss the following game. Models that are capable of casting spells or prayers are immune to this effect.
Thanks, RL | |

| You are right, it is not clear, but i would play it that you exclude the immune casters from the random roll.
In the end the caster is immune but can not protect others from being affected.

| I thought that the wording was clear. And yes, the former interpretation is correct. First determine the victim and then see if the effect of the spell... uhm.. has any effect at all.
(PS: The rules are written this way because I wanted to weaken the power of an otherwise very strong spell. This is one of the many screws where you can adjust the strength of the warband (or a certain "God" in this case))

| Gotcha. FIrst roll for hero. Then disregard with no effect if the enemy hero can cast spells or prayers. (It may be a break down in language but "former" is the first or "before" and "latter" is the second or "later"). Thanks cianty! | |

| Oops. sorry for the confusion. I meant the second of your initial interpretations. | |
