| That's a FINE start to a Band of No Gooders. Guys in robes & hoods always remind me of the K.K.K...now that is really an Evil Band. Our own HumanFly is using Ally Morrison's Hand of Fate as an inspiration; you might get some ideas here: http://www.sodemons.com/rhmordheim/handoffate/index.htmfor your mutants that is. | |

| Well you can use loads of things for converting your mutants, i've personally used a orc boy as base and i'm waiting for some chaos marauders' bitz, but you could use those bretonnians too for keeping the warband them and showing the fact that they're "chosen" brethren with the mutations represented on model and maybe a different skintone as "cosmetic mutaton". | |

| Games Workshop used to have a plastic mutation sprue for 40K and Fantasy. I swapped for bitz with another player to get mutantion stuff. Reaper also sells bitz packs that have tentacles, claws and such, "monster conversion" or some similar name.

| Some parts of the Chaos Spawn or Chaos Marines Possessed could be worth looking into perhaps? | |

| well i've ordered a box of chaos spawn to make my mutants but for now i think i'll upload a few pics of my warband as it is, complete with new possessed i'm pretty happy with the masks for the darksouls and the flails made from imperial militia halberd hands and pole and brettonian archer chains (to go with the stakes) you can see i used the chain to make some 'counts as' clubs (morning stars) for the 2 brethren in the first pic. 2 brethren and a darksoul. magister flanked by the 2 possessed which i'm hoping will look even better when painted last 2 brethren and darksoul i was really surprised just how much i could do with a box of brettonian archers, some imperial militia weapons i had spare and a bit of greenstuff (my first foray). | |

| GREAT STUFF! The Brethren bring to my mind, such as it is, The Elucidated Brethren from Terry Pratchett's Guards! Guards...this is a real plus with moi. I love the Magister's staff...the pointing hand makes it cool. The Possessed are suitably disturbing. Keep up the GOOD WORK! It is amazing what G.W.'s plastic pieces can be used for; they are a treasure trove for the creative. | |

| I think that Possessed is one of the Warbands you can have fun with. The Possessed and Mutant Models you can have a lot of fun with adding Mutations, Alt Heads, etc... the Brethren are Madmen, so I took a lot of the Fantics, Human soldier/archer and Maurder Heads and mixed and Matched. That is one thing that is cool about Humans is that they can be mixed and matched pretty easily. | |

| Ok so after a LONG while, here is some of my little guys all painted up. the Ogre, Mutant and Beastman all benefitted from my recent discovery and liberal use of brown wash. the possessed look alot more purple in real life, the light washed it out a touch, while the Magister and darksoul really should be washed before i put them back on the table. Hope you guys like them! Note the little dead rat hanging from the shield, in honour of this guy's recent killing of no less than 6 out of 8 skaven over 2 rounds of combat before succumbing to the blades. Spines, Tentacle, Extra arm, Chaos Armour, Shield and Sword for the win. The Beastman here is the one i plan on using when one of my 3 gets 'talent' and is made up to hero status. the Ogre's inclusion in the warband was (and still is!)funded wholly by the capture and ransom of a very experienced Skaven Warlock. Roqztedi and Bei-Bopq, my two possessed/enforcers. neither is actually equipped with claws or tails as i couldn't afford them at startup but they certainly haven't needed it to dominate. Lightning reflexes and Initiative 7 rocks by the way. ffinally the Darksoul and Magister. The darksouls have become increasingly painful to replace so have been retired. My Magister on the other hand retired himself (to the grave) in his second game after leaping off a ledge in order to escape a rampaging Bestigor. He died on impact with the cobblestones. | |

| Nice work! Good to see the lads painted up. Getting true colors with photography is difficult. | |

| They look good, especially the Ogre, where the metal parts turned out nice. You could try some more shading and highlighting next time. AND there are some giant mould lines on the Ogre, the Darksoul and the Magister! | |

| LOOKIN' GOOD! It's amazing what a little paint can achieve when lovingly applied. I particularly like the skin tones on the Ogre & Breasty Guy. FINE WORK! | |

| Yeah i was a bit disappointed by how much the mould line showed up, the wash really brings them out on the ogre especially. | |

| Nice work! I like the Mutant in the Chaos Armor particularly. This warband certainly has a lot of character. | |

| Cool stuff! Really like your modelling and painting - but you seriously need to take care of mold lines in the future. While it's not fun scraping them away, it's even less fun having a characterful mini flawed after painting it beautifully... Keep up the work, though! Would love to see some more! | |
