| VERY COOL find...I'm glad it made you happy. They all look splendid & in character for Mordheim. The fact that they all seem to come with alternate gear is a real plus...off sets a moderately high price tag. I hope you don't mind; I added the img tags to make the images appear. | |

| I think £10 for one human sized figure is really taking the p*ss. | |

| New models are always nice, esp. Witch Hunters. The wizard would make a great warlock too. The price is def. steep, but hopefully ebay will help with that somewhat. | |

I found some old WDs the other day (from when Town Cryer was part of the mag), the back page catalogue prices made me almost weep bitter nostalgic tears... 3 metal figures for £5

| Pic seems to be gone. You know you can post pics in a private Facebook album and still use their adress to show them on the forum, right? Thats what i do. | |

| Actually I only posted links, I guess DeafNala altered my thread accordingly, so I do not know what happened to the pics. I do use FB but I am not a fan.
The prices are out and while I think that they are reasonable for most of the new stuff I am horrified about what they now charge for old minis you could get for way less a week ago. 23€ / 30$ for a knightly Grand Master???

| they are rather nice, the "new" warhammer minis are for the most part rather good (I hate hate hate the new vampires) except for the focus on BIG infantery and monsters. But the 40k line is just getting worse and worse | |

Half the new Possessed Marines look downright cartoonish, while I still refuse to acknowledge the existence of 'Giant Wolf Space Marine Cavalry' - truly a shark jumping moment, and that's saying something when dealing with the baroque insanity of GW

| Could not agree more with you, space wolves riding huge wolves? Really?! The spine on that wolf must be thick like an oak to able to stand the weight of a fully armoured space marine. It is just idiotic and it doesn't help that the miniature looks stupid as well | |

| On the Space Wolf Riders: there isn't all that much distinction between the 40K & W.F.B. stuff as it is; eventually the Skaven will tunnel in followed by the Tomb Kings. Of course, this isn't a problem for moi, as I'm denying G.W.'s existence all together...G.W.; Isn't that where the Easter Bunny & Santa hangout during off season? | |

| well the tomb kings and the necrons are apparently the same nowadays, except I like the TK better, stupid robots in space that looks like skeletons! Space rats would be terrible but fun in a too dumb to believe kind of way. And I still hate space wolves on big wolves And about santa claws don't you know he hangs out in Finland during his days off? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pH9IyqTk1EI think the easter rabbit come from sweden, they are more bunny-like | |

| I like the new miniatures, too bad most come with some big ass stuff and not only the awesome gear and models However, I think I will have to get my hands on some as well. What I think is really a shame is that they apparently bolted steam tank parts to their new creation of demi griphons, which might haven proven to be fun to convert otherwise. But these carts and the different options they come with look cool. I can just see myself installing these weird apparatuses (?) to some kind of wizard's guild tower terrain. | |

| if you mean the crew members of the different wierd machines I agree with you, some of them look really great. Too bad you have to buy a big honking warmachine to get them. Or go internet shopping but that is unfortunately not an option right now for me I just don't like the new focus on monstrous infantery, it all began with the ogres and has just escalated into a kid-friendly avalanche of crap monsters and big action figures. I feel almost sorry for the staff who has to sell and sell those minis. Everytime I visit a GW store they ask what I play and I always answer mordheim. Most staffers doesn't even know the game and they always recommend some battalion box, like I need that for mordheim... Sorry for the strange rant, working night shift and full of Battery... | |
