| So far i have two finished warbands. Witch Hunters and Carnival of Chaos. The first was made with models bought for specifically for the WH crew, the next made by mini's i had allready. Now its time for the next project! I wanted to make a Beastmen warband for a long time and have had meny funny and wierd idears on how to theme them and what mini's to use. For a while i was totally set on using crocodile games fantastik Khemru range. However after playing alot aginst plastic warbands i realized that not only are they fun to assemble/mod/paint they also present great merit on the game table as the low weight allow them to stand on uneven ground without tipping over and also secures that the paint stay on the mini when its pushed over to reprisent it being stunned or knocked down. So for these resons i decided to make my new project an all plastic beastmen warband. I got myself three boxes (Gors, Bestigors and Warhounds) and started to figure out how i would want to mix and asseble the peaces. However while doing so i quickly realized that if i, with the mini's at hand, wanted them to have any personality, a great deal of convertion would be needed. So... Back to the shop and get some greenstuff and then home and find all my old bitsboxes. This Warband will surely take longer to make then my previous ones, however i suspect itll be alot of fun and figuered i would share my progress here My plan for the characters is as follows: Warband Name: The Rite of Passage Heroes:Cheiftain: Little Hoof Shaman: Stargazer Bestigor: Pathfinder Bestigor: Talespinner Centigor: Newmoon Gor Hero: Dreamer Henchmen:Gors: The Winterborn Gors: The Autumn Braves Chaos hounds: The Howlers Minutaur: Totem The idear is to play a pack of braves sent out to the city of Mordheim to fufill their Rite of Passage. I want them to look very tribal, very hardcore and very young. So far ive begun working on the young minutaur, "Totem". I was pretty inspired by the designs in the Conan movie, when it comes to barbarian looks He is made from the Warhammer Quest minutaur, with a beastmen Gor Mace in the right hand and a Khemri skull, Mordheim backpack, emperial archer pouch and Ogre Bull cleaver in his belt. The Saron btw, is my first ever greenstuff creation. | |

| That is a PRETTY COOL Bully Boy...the kilt & added equipment make him somewhat less bestial but no less feral...if that makes any sense. VERY NICE bit of conversion; have FUN with the painting! | |

| Thank you This greenstuff thing is pretty fun to play around with. To think it took me so long to get around to do anything other then filling gabs with it Well the two first Gors are done. This is the Autumn Braves. I really like how i got the rather boring standard beastmen bodies to look dynamic and in action. The greenstuff hooded cloaks are 2. and 3. GS creations, and i think it went rather well espesially the hoods. Sorry for the pic quality, its too dark and my light sources are limitid, but i really wanted to update as i went along | |

| VERY COOL...the positioning & the flowing capes make for a dynamic/dramatic effect. EXCELLENT WORK! I'm just starting to get into G.Sing myself...it's addictive. | |

| Riiight... So, its been a while since the last update. Only reason for this have been my lack of camera so in the meantime ive finished building the warband and will start painting them soon. But first a series of pics, showing off the lot of them To figure out how to make their bases look I made a few counters (Hidden, Drunken, Bloodgreed) I really like how the snow turned out and the brown grass goes well with the white and grey i think And now for the Warband itself: Here's a Gor And another Gor One more Gor And Gor number four The final Gor, and the one id use as hero if i get "La ds got talent" Minutaur, now with basing stuff Warhounds First Bestigor, named Pathfinder Second Bestigor, named Talespinner Centigor, named Newmoon. I really like his drunken attitude Shaman, named Stargazer Chieftain, name Little Hoof Thats the lot of them im ive also made a few hired swords that we made up for beastmen in our gaming group, but they will get their own topic once i get around to write them properly I hope you like the warband, and feel free to comment. I like comments | |

| Thanks allot 'Fly and Deaf' indeed im looking forward to the painting! I dicided to post the WIP on the hired swords anyway as mentioned above, they are homemade by our gaming group. This is a Gough Horn Manhunter. Same stats and rules as a pitfighter from the core book exept for +1 Movement and -1 Initiative. And this here is a Woodland Ogre. Exactly the same rules and stats as the ogre bodyguard, except it can only be hired by beastmen And finally an Ungor Scout. Its a halfling scout but with -1 initiative, - 2 leadership and +1 toughness and +1 movement. | |

| Great looking gang, fantastic green stuffing! I really like what you have done with the beasts, wait that sounded a bit wierd... anyway keep up the good work and may I suggest naming the lord Little Horn? A more biblical reference to the infernal beastman | |

| Hey guys The beasties have been on hold for a while now. I got sidetracked assembling and painting an undead warband for a friend (almost done). But now i turn my attention back on the Rite of Passage, and doing so brings up a few questions Any good advice on painting white fur? I have most of the old GW colours and some of the new one. Any good advice on painting warpaint (on beastmen)? I guess its just a matter of picking up a brush and some red paint and challenge my freehand skills, but some tips would be really nice Thanks in advance, ill post pictures as soon as there's something to post | |

| Wow, thanks! As mentioned, this is my first green stuff adventure and I must confess, I'm so happy with them, that the paint job scares me. so i allow myself to get side-tracked :/ Just this evening we had a game, so naturally i put together a possessed team ... however them cultist wont get a paint job before these beat-dudes | |

| Again, thanks for the comments As you can tell from the Gor's i couldn't really figure the cloaks out myself either so they're pretty different but I like the overall feel of the crew Its been a while now since the last picture update to these guys, but I still can't decide on an approach to white fur :/ I'll get back to that tonight though Meanwhile I've been playing around with these two side projects: An undead warband for a friend, and a possessed warband, for our test campaign | |

| So... I decided to start by painting one of the hired swords, to check out the colours I am going to use, and boy am I glad I did. This theme, I think, looks okay/not horrible on the ungor, but it needs work before its ready for the big guys | |
