| Alright Folks, I love the community here, and still regularly lurk, but haven't done much posting. I don't know whether that'll change, but in the last year my wife has been kind enough to purchase me both a smart phone and a house with a man cave option in the basement. Both are in various states of continual disarray, but i put the effort tonight into trying to get a couple photos up and figured out... We'll see if i'm actually technologically savvy enough to figure this out. A close up of a halfling with a couple other painted minis in the background, taken on my workbench with the iphone. Actually getting out the Nikon and uploading photos onto a computer was too much for me tonight, so we'll see how the quality of this works out. And my necro and a zombie staring down my beastman chieftain in front of a couple other buildings. This photo seems fuzzier, maybe my hand was blocking the light a little more. Hopefully i'm getting back into the hobby. I played a couple games with someone i met off the forums last year. I've been building terrain off and on for the last year, and been attempting to convert a couple of friends towards playing. Let me know what you think, I'll keep picking at it and see if i can manage to paint some more models soon. And please tell me if I'm doing something inappropriate in how i've posted photos I used the imbed image button and copied links from a tumblr blog. I've got some paranoia about leaching bandwith, although i don't know what it means or who talked about it (maybe the dwarf fortress game forums...) So i'm happy to learn the correct way if i need to. Thanks -rhuntar

| The photos are fine, if fa tad on the fuzzy side. Both the minis & the terrain look GREAT...especially in combination. The Halfling looks like in his present state of panic he's about to throw himself off of a cliff...seemed like a good idea at the time. WELL DONE! Keep posting & we'll keep commenting...but be warned, posting photos is highly addictive. | |

| That's three of us now. The photos had been there & the [img] links are still in the post. Why they're not showing up is anyone's guess. | |

| hey those are some really good minis! I like the halfling, it's a good mini and you did a great job on it! The terrain looks good to, you have to post some pictures of it. And congrats on the man cave | |

| Alright. Overdue, but thought I'd show some of what i've been working on. Been picking at a lot of various models, here and there to try and remind myself how to paint. Nothing much has gotten completed, but these two are the closest to 'finished'. An Archer and a Dreg And one quick shot of a few of the warband (reiklanders probably?) in progress

| The Lads are coming along VERY NICELY. The Little Guy with the lantern & the attitude is really cool. Keep up the GOOD WORK! | |

| I managed to get a direwolf far enough along that I feel I should post him as well. My warbands will have snow basing eventually, so there's a strong blue/ice/grey vibe running through many of the models.... Looking at the photos, I wish I had greenstuff'd up the neck line to hide the gap better, but I probably won't be headed back into this guy anytime too soon. Anyways, this little mutt gave me a solid confidence boost, so I should probably get some critiques from you guys to keep me in check. -rhuntar | |

| Very nice paint work there, very grissley looking (which is good for the piece). I would say if I had anything to critisise it would be that the greylooks a little plain, at least in the photos (could do with more highlighting). | |

| VERY GHASTLY, which in this case is good! The muscle, bones, & fur turned out TERRIFIC. If you go for some further highlighting on the (rotting) flesh, mix some of the bone color with the flesh color you used...it should give you a waxy pallor effect. Feeling good about your painting/modeling is a prime motivating factor. SO enjoy the feeling. AND keep up the GOOD WORK! | |

| Of course you guys would notice that I'd tried to get away with only one layer on the flesh. I added another layer and a little highlight and cleaned up a few details. And then painted up two more. I also finished up a zombie and a ghoul. I really like how the hair (fur?) came out on the ghoul, (although it could maybe use another highlight) but it doesn't necesarily fit in with the color scheme of much of the warband... The focus was crummy in that photo, but I'm still dialing in my camera knowledge... I keep telling myself i'll whip up a little white mdf box for photos at work, but have been forgetting... maybe soon. Did a little work today on painting up some buildings that have been languishing in a terrain chest, so hopefully i'll keep on it. -rhuntar | |
