| Yeah, your latest blanked is by far the most versatile thing I've seen. My board has wallpaper on one side, which suits both wild and urban sceneries, and on the other side, I have lighter colours to represent a sandy beach. Still, I'm not able to do what you can with adding levels by placing books and other things under the blanket.

| How come the towel doesn't go all hard and crusty!? One would imagine bits of paint flaking off all over the place... I suppose acrylic paints have a tendency to be absorbed by the material. Messed up one or two shirts by spilling Citadel colours in the past. | |

| It isn't that scratchy actually. It isn't stiff in any way and you can rest your elbows on it without it hurting.
My old snow board had sand glued on and then painted and that used to be quite painful to lean on. My wife always used to complain about scratching her fingernails on it.

| Hey, Thought I'd share a glimpse of my latest scenery extravaganza! As part of my ongoing campaign on Last Chance War I am trying to develop a lot more story-based background for the different locations where battle takes place. If my friends and I ever get our New Mordheim campaign off the ground it will be set in a called Fell Glen that I'm working on developing. Anyway, this board was created to serve as the location of a treaty being signed between the Warriors of Dunkel Schloss and the Spider Goblins. As such there wasn't any need for it to be playable onable, so I went all out to make it look as dense and inhospitable as possible. My one regret now actually is that I didn't do more with lighting when I was taking the pictures. A gloomy single point source of light would really have enhanced things. I didn't want to go too mad on here but if you want to see the other pictures you can go over and take a look on my blog if you like (no pressure). | |

| VERY NICE jungle effect....all the flora & the vibrant coloration look TERRIFIC. You have probably one of the most adaptable table I ever seen; it looks like it was made just for a Jungle Scene; when it was a Gothic Horror setting it appeared specific for that. VERY WELL DONE! | |

Spot on! It really is adaptable and versatile. It is a terrific idea and this is why I have to steal it! Joao

| Great shots! You can almost imagine what it would be like to live there a small town on the edge of the forest. I wouldn't fancy being on guard in the watch tower at night! ACE | |

| As part of my drive to imrpove the realism of the locations in my campaign map, I've spent the last few days busying myself with building a bridge! In order to fit the number of Warhammer units on that I wanted it ended up being RATHER larger than I had planned. It really is a monster. But it looks great on the table top. The wizard on the bridge should give you some idea of scale... As per usual, there's a story to go with this map location as I'm really trying to bring the places alive. | |

| VERY IMPRESSIVE! The new bridge & river look GREAT & fit SO nicely with the rest of your terrain. The atmosphere you create with your various pieces is The Thing that make your work stand out. VERY CINEMATICLY WELL DONE! | |

| Holy shiatz!!
First i thought; hmm.. thats one nice bridge. A litte less undetailed than im used to (im a GW b#tch so sculls and uberdetailed into the extreme is what ive come to know as "normal")
But very nice anyhow! And very fitting with the rest (witch is also wonderful!)
Then i noticed the water, that bloody brilliant! Ive never thought of using a textil as water! Thanks for the inspiration!
And THEN i read about the Sorcerer! I thought he was some kind of smudge on my screen!! That made my jaw drop! That thing is HUGE!!!
Very good! Very good indeed!!

| Been showing your table shots to my photographer mate Bob this evening. He has been playing some games in my campaign with a new ambush party of bog dwelling daemon-friends. Move over swamp goblin chieftain! When he saw your marshy pond sections I swear he started salivating!! Have arranged to meet with Joao next weekend on Saturday. Gonna have a pint at Goat & Tricycle give each other a tour of our tabletops. If you are free to join in that would be marvellous. I will see if my photographer gamer-buddy is free to take some snapshots of the horizons. Regards, Stu | |

| "Bog dwelling daemon-friends" sounds my cup of tea (well, sort of!). I have a few bog creatures myself, so maybe I could bring them too.

| Are we looking at a "bog-off" in the Cursed Marsh between my* fimir and your swamp goblins? ;-)
*were mine - the grotesque amphibians seem to have found a new leader to deploy/paint them...

| Well, I've got amphibian creatures that we used in a game at Tim's (using his fabulous board with those marshes) and some gatormen too. We could use them in your board too (although they don't come on the traditional square bases). Those Forge World fimirs caught my attention. I wouldn't mind getting them at some stage. Joao | |

| Well Hordes Machine is meant to be played generally on 4'x4' so I tend to have the game take place in the centreish of the ol' eight footer. | |
