| I've been a fan of the Wyrd minis for quite some time now....before Malifaux at any rate. The Puppet Master does have a certain Carnivale feel to him. Actually Malifaux can be played out in a Mordheim setting quite nicely. I think Collette & friends might also work with the Carnivale: | |

| While I like some of their Minis and was even considering buying the Mad Hatter some day, I don't really like the sculpting style in general. It is very simular to the french one, with the elongated arms/legs and gaunt faces (Confro. Alkemy etc...). I like them chubby the way GW does them! So while an all-Wyrd warband might work for some, these here aren't an adition to actual Carnevale-minis imo. | |

| Good one, DeafNala! I hadn't seen those ladies before! They look great! I have a few Wyrd minis myself, and they seem to suit all the other ranges, but yeah, they aren't as chubby as GW's - which is not necessarily a bad thing! Joao | |

| I thought you might like those minis, JoaoS...they have the same puppet theme as the minis you picked out. These are also in a similar style: ...a bit more lethal looking though. As Gimscull pointed out, they don't match G.W's. style, although they would look good with Rackam or Fenryll. The pieces have the feel of a Vampiric Theatre Noir...more an unsettling, suspenseful form of horror than the shock/gore effect style of the original Carnavale. | |

| Hi! Well, I went on a search for more Malifaux related stuff and saw those too. I love the costumes and poses, but not so much the fact that they have those claws and artificial faces. I guess I could do a bit of easy conversion and add some "real" hands and heads.
I think these Malifaux minis could suit a theme that would involve jesters and thieves, I guess.

| I think the Puppeteer and puppets would make a great CoC Carnival Master & "counts-as" nurglings! I like Colette and company, as well, although while they do have that "carnivale" look they're much less Nurgly/Carnival of Chaos. Nothing a little conversion work and appropriate paint jobs couldn't fix, though! And of course, they're great minis on their own anyways.
I've poked through the Malifaux range too, and I find them to be very hit-or-miss. I like how imaginative they are, but like Grimscull I'm not a fan of the particularly gangly miniatures in the range. Being a fan of all things gobliny, though, I have to say I'm very tempted to pick up some of their bayou gremlins.

Agree. I don't really see the point in some of their models. On the other hand, the ones that I like, I really like. I can imagine creating a little warband with those puppets, showgirls, and maybe a bit of voodoo: And a bit of circus in between: Joao
