| Forumites Rejoice! Another epic project is about to start! I assume most of you know the prices for the blue insulation foam..? not something to waste easily... specially when needed in large amounts for some project, they are way to costly, but oh so easy to work with... Well, today at the shop I work at, we tore down an old shed due to renovations... and to my surprise, the walls were loaded with the sweet blue gold!! so now I have a whole bunch of it, plenty to start of with a new project to fill up both mordheim, and deliver a really fun game for everyone! this will become the Mordheim equivalent of the Roman Circus Maximus! Hurray for Chariot Races! - Just upgraded my Dark Elf one with 2 extra Cold Ones, and dusted off the Lion Chariot, Tiranoc Chariot, and Heroic Chariot! nice, now I can race myself all night! hahah apologies for the bad pic, (the reference is also rather off... it's a massive couch...) | |

Yep. That's why it's called insulation foam ... * Ez? Put down that hammer... no, your house's walls are NOT for modelling. Where is Duce with the rolled up newspaper when you need him?* (Anyone getting the above reference, is defenitely spending too much time on the forum ) Anyway, congrats on the blue foam Ez! I'm sure you'll work wonders with it. Keep us updated on your progress! Greatly looking forward to it! _________________

| Well the walls of this OLD HOUSE are Pre-Blue/Pink Foam Era; they used Mammoth fur . God obviously has chosen you for a GREAT WORK [light shines on Ezekiel]. | |

Are we being smart here? The point was that it was an open little shed... filled with broken ski's and some old wood, so I wouldn't have figured the need for insulation... Sadly, I immediatly figured the newspaper reference... and only after 33 posts here... Guess I should start actually working when I'm on the job... hehe And if this is indeed the work of god I'm to do, then I will instantly convert! hurray for religions that assign you to build sickening tormenting places of doom and destruction! I wonder what their churches look like... *ping! Idea! hehe

| No harm done here my good man, Being genuine dutch (specially the region around Amsterdam) implies being higly adapted to sarcasm, mockery and smartassery, only to strike back jokingly at the strangest of times (not that other cultures allways appreciate that... but hey, it's what we do! hehe) | |

| Ok, just a quick update on the Circus Maximus (I need a good name... anyone?) just to show I'ts size,... it's gonna be MASSIVE! though I'm not gonna build all the seats, the turn will be the biggest thing, (more accidents there! ) with catacombs filled with souvenir stands, and the entrances towards the seats... this here is the skeleton basically, big and sturdy, should be good. hope to update again soon! (unfortunately I'll be hosting couchsurfing guests all week AND work... so I'm afraid there isn't much time... ) And a good night to you! | |

*Ez? Put down that hammer... no, your house's walls are NOT for modelling. Where is Duce with the rolled up newspaper when you need him?* Just for good measure *rolls up newspaper* *Smacks Ezekiel's nose* No.. houses are for living in, not making into mordheim scenery... if you do rest of scenery get wet.. no bad! *smacks Cianty for good measure* My soul, ..bad.. leave alone *puts newspaper in back pocket* Good work Tom, another disaster avoided with your quick thinking. Together we can help these kids kick drugs.. i mean modelling obsession... damn their so similiar. *flies off* _________________

| Ez, that's freaking awesome. I don't have a good name for you, but I'll work on it. Freaking awesome idea though. I hope you make it extremely playable (with lots of entrances). - Ezekiel wrote:

Ha! I finally just finished a month of that... now I have to catch up on work, and then I'll be able to post some actual progress instead of just being a peanut gallery...

| ontopic note also, Eze, you should craft some ramps up and down and some pillars to kte around. Basically if you have played WoW steal the ideas from the Blades Edge Arena, ramps, bridges etc, could make an awesome mordheim 5v5 game where 5 of your warband fight and you can bet on outcomes of other warbands.. or you can make a unique game 300g 5 person team type thing, or each person gets 100g and 1 model. teamwork /over excited rant off _________________ | |

| hmmm sounds like a nice one that teamwork kind of thing... I was thinking of adding an extra half circle to make an actual arean to unleash beasts and pitfights (I like to have this one multi functional - Arean, Circus, Theatre....) but ehh I don't play wow, so if you could enlighten me with some images, that would be really nice! | |

you're a host as well then? Haha! No way! I just looked up couchsurfing (as I obviously misunderstood it). That sounds crazy awesome. Actually, I just had My family visiting, and then my wife's family... so a month of practically no gaming, blogging, modeling... and very little work... (I did sneak in a game of Mordheim with my brother, but don't tell anyone) Back on topic: - Duce wrote:

/over excited rant off I'm excited about that. That sounds better than a bar fight! I don't play either, but here's an explanation of it: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/pvp/arena/index.xml(scroll down a bit)

| heres a link to the one i'm talking about http://images2.ggl.com/articles/4752/bladesedge.jpgbridges and high ground which could be used tactically, especially since they can't just run past your melee models. and the ability to duck and hide under the bridge to avoid ranged. Now this exact layout but it gives a real small team working together feel which zergs might not just work on. _________________ | |

| Last night I caught the end of A Knight's Tale [GOOD flick ]; unbidden the Luncheim Jousting rules popped into my wizened head followed closely by your Maximus Glorioso Coliseum. NOW I HAVE TO make that Jousting Arena! ALL THIS INSPIRATIONAL STUFF is going to necessitate a life span of several hundred years. I'll have to ask THE MAN for an extension. Thanks. | |

| Ok, it turns out to be quit a lot of work! (no really? ) but progress is being made... though not as much detail as most of the buildings I made (yet) this will be pretty much an eyecatching piece... there will be a large area outside, so I think I'll add souvernir stands, shacks for the slaves, and some entertainment perhaps... Looking at it from this angle makes me want to finish it and really get on with it!! (though I do not really feel like making all the onlookers! haha | |
