Yup! It's actually really really easy to get rid of all the 40k futuristic bits on Nobz if you don't use their weapons - the hardest bits are the bullet-belts but I just clip them flat and glue something over the blank space! Their sword hands are from Ogre Bulls.

Oh, goody good!! Oh, am I going to get myself some Orks and some Ogres' bits! Actually, I might as well get some of these, while I'm at it:

I would love to make an orc warband, but I just ordered some halflings from ebay for a halfling trade (gourmet) expedition to cathay so the orcs will be a pipe dream for now

I finished the greenstuff work on the Orc in the Iron Mask this morning. Photos to follow soon. Mildew da Windows and Count RockFort are started but they will take a few more days work.

although I usually don't like orks in Mordheim, these muskeorks are superb. i love the guy taking of his hat. En garde!

Oh man, haha these are awesome! I can't say this enough, I love all your re-imagined orcs in their various mockeries! Musketorcs is a hilarious idea (as are just about any orc in costume, and orcs in general I suppose). Nice work as always, looking forward to seeing the bishop and his toady painted.

As always COOL STUFF! The Cardinal really looks the part.

@Arcuballis - there isn't really a great secret... just a steady hand and a small, pointy brush!

I painted the shapes of all the skulls as a simple but irregular oval with a small square sticking out of the bottom in medium grey. (I bring you the magic of Photoshop!)



Then "blobbed" the eyes and nose on in black with an even smaller brush.



When the paint was dry I washed the whole dress with Badab Black Citadel Wash.



I copied the idea from one of the guys from Golem painting Studios (we play Mordheim and Warhammer in their studio space at The Mill) who had done something similar (and to a much higher standard!) on the inside of a Space Marine character's cloak
