| Makes me wonder just how many cool warbands you are going to make and what's coming up next? Quality painting all in all and conversions like Horatio and man holding tankard give this gang nice break from being too uniform looking. Btw, wasnt character called Manfred von Diehl in one of Gotrek and Felix stories? | |

| Thx for the comments.
@ sianpää You are right Manfred von Diehl was a character in the first book. But I like the name. How many warbands? 10 and maybe 11 if I find enough parts for the pirates. 16 warbands are enough, maybe.
witchhunters (I just need the hunter with the tow handed sword) amazons orcs undeads lizardmens tombguardiens beastmens chaos marauders chaos dwarfs (the dwarfs are allready converted and I only need 5 informers. I want to use the reaper kobolds) skaven
But I don't realy know which warband I will paint next. Maybe the orcs. But before I can paint them I have to do some living history stuff.

| The mercenaries are finally finished and I've even managed to photograph them. From left to right. 1. The freelancer of Solland. To see his yellow / white uniform and the plate with the sun. 2. Elf Mage (Mr. Smith or Elornd). Well what drives an effeminate pointed ear to work as blade for hire? 3. Lidd hunter of Warcanto. Is a very nice alternative model for a Ulfwernar for the Norse. 4. beast hunter. A model in which everything is just right. Would be alone the reason to play a warband of "horned hunter". 5 Kislev Ranger. Well ... tits Now the Norse and the Ostlaender must be re based and then the existing warbands are all finished and I can start working on a new warband. | |

| I did it. Now all miniatures were glued on round bases and it only took me nearly half a year. Damm I am lazy. Ok I worked on man chaos horde, but with all the rumors I stopped. This week I also painted an ogre for the Ostländer Warband. I think he fits well in this warband. so i hope you will enjoy it. | |

| That did turn out in SPLENDID fashion. Leaving off the fresh kill was an excellent idea; re, that sort of embellishment looks good on a vignette, but having the same corpse in whatever setting your Bane Wolf goes makes for a strange gaming piece. The Beasty in the Woods is a GREAT photo. VERY WELL DONE! | |

| The Vertically Challenged Folk are WONDERFULLY represented in your two new creations. The metalwork & striped trousers make the Dwarf, AND the Halfing is just plain COOL. Your brushwork & color choices are as TERRIFIC as ever. OUTSTANDING WORK! | |

| All names belong to actual persons of the 17th century. In the context of a research work I came across a short "essay" of a witch process of 1676 in Jena. A widow was inculpated by their neighbors of being driven to the Walpurgisnacht out the window and be entered into a covenant with the devil that night and to have this sealed by fornication. Then the process began on 04/04/1676. After three days of torture, she confessed to the crime. On the night of 7.4 she died as a result of torture. In the documents the names of the persons involved were mentioned and these I use for the gang. Johann, Melchior Grimm as Inquisitor Wolf Schneider as Witch Hunter (the bearded one with the tourch) Hans Schirmer as Witch Hunter (witch the tow handed sword) Sigmund Kreger as Witch Hunter Johann Pfündel as Warrior Priest (the person was realy a priest) | |
