The reason I ask is it might make an interested campaign mechanic in later games.
I got TONS of campaigns to work on first, but the idea hit me: what if you had a setting where instead of Wyrdstone, you collected Slaves? Each game, you roll to see how many slaves you find. Each one you can either sell off, using the normal charts. Any unsold ones can either stay at camp (like your treasury), or be driven out on to the battlefield to help you (although they risk dying and being captured.)
To be honest, Dribble Joy gets some credit, as I was thinking about how fun it would be to run his Black Orcs against their creators, the Chaos Dwarves... and then my love of the Dark Lands reared up once more.
