| Good afternoon everybody just registered so I thought I'd introduce myself. I've only been able to play a couple games but absolutely love mordeheim it allows me to focus on single models allowing me to improve my painting abilities and customization. However there's just nobody that plays or knows about the game in my area.
-P.S. WAAAAGH!!! | |

| Hey Lambert. With no one in your area, you're going to have to spread The Word yourself...failing that there's always solo . SO... WAAAGGH & WELCOME ABOARD Fearless Leader Tom's Yet Oh-So-Cool in a Sort of Way Mordheim Forum. May your stay be LONG & MERRY! | |

| Power and Mordheim=no fun. Welcome to the forum! There are a couple of your fellow Arizonaians about on the forum. Might not help as they may live too far away, but you never know. | |

| Just do what I did, introduce them to the game. Give them a demoestration. Actually, you might have a better chance with friends that never had play any table top wargames before. It worked for me. Oh and welcome to the boards. | |

| Ya it seems all my friends that already play tabletops want nothing to do with it however i have some other friends that have never played a tabletop and they seem interested because its not as huge of a moneypit as with warhammer and they like a more in depth relaxed game so there may be hope yet | |

| If you can, make sure you have a good detailed gaming table and some nicely painted terrain and models. It'll make the game a lot more "cooler" and enjoyable for the first timers. Work with me. | |

| Agreed with Flip: It's always easier to turn friends into gamers than gamers into friends.

| Welcome to the forum, and good luck finding people to play with! (Although solo can be fun, too).
I have found that when non-gaming friends have played Mordheim, they have consistently enjoyed it.
Once you have built up a nice selection of terrain and some minis, you might organize a competitive tournament (with lots of hype) for the local gaming club, since there are a lot of super-competitive guys there. If you do, it might be best not to play yourself, just serve as referee/GM.
Once you get them to play, some if not all will be bitten by the Mordheim bug.
Have you tried posting something at the game shop? If the people who hang out there are heavy power gamers, it is possible that others of like mind to yourself shop there, but don't game there.
