Helmet for vampires Empty
PostSubject: Helmet for vampires   Helmet for vampires Icon_minitimeWed 10 Aug 2011 - 8:48

Hi

I have seen on this forum and in other places that some times, vampires are given helmets. From what i understand of the rules, the "feel no pain" rule works as a helmet save on 1+ (always succeeds), And from what i understand of the official errata, there is no difference between helmet and "feel no pain" when it comes to using the "jump up" talent.

Am i missing anything in the rules, or does a helmet do absolutely nothing for a vampire?

No, I don't think it does anything.

Nope! Although, the Jump Up Skill allows him to ignore being knocked down if the injury roll was a 1 or 2. (I.e. what would normally knock down the warrior.) A roll of 3-4 means he's knocked down, no jump up.

Unless I'm mistaken.

Hey, human error is to be expected. I thought Jump Up was going to make my Vamp ni-invulnerable until someone pointed out the rules review. (Curses!)
