| I LOVE Discworld & Terry Pratchett's take on Fantasy in general; SO I was prepared not to like the minis. HOWEVER, Micro Art did such a fantastic job with all the characters that even the price of the minis isn't totally off putting, although they're still on my "someday" list. | |

| While I am a big fan of TPs books and have like 20 of them here, I was never too fond of the covers. And this stretches to the minis too now, it seems. I cannot really point to what it is, maybe the slim, comicy stile, I do not know. What I like are the Andrew, Conan and Librarian minis though | |

| I actually quite like those models, too bad they're a tad pricey and seems like they'd also be a bit big for Mordheim. Still, they look like fun to paint up, and that top mini in particular would make an excellent witch hunter if anyone was so inclined.
I haven't read Discworld, although it's on my list.

| I like them too, although I hear what Grimscull is saying about the comic style of the minis.
I would really like to get some of these, but now that you mention the size, I should investigate exactly how big they are. I wouldn't like to get another bad experience of buying cool-looking minis only to find them to be too big for my collection.

| I LOVE Discworl! I actually got all of the books in my collection and read them all, too It's true about the comic style, but I think it fits nicely, and is also in line with the movies they made. Like them a lot, too, and it's always interesting to see how other people imagined the character you spent hours and hours of fun with Actually, there was an Ankh Morpork Night Watch warband list for Mordheim somewhere on the net. I think it did stretch the usual conventions a little far, but might still be fun to play. Nightwatch vs. Unseen Academy, or the Witches | |

| Nightwatch vs assassins guild You could use Reiklander rules due to the additional BS (for all them Burleigh and Stronginthearm Crossbows ) Im tempted to do this as my next warband. Hmm... Using the empire greatswords bodys with x-bows and brettonian flat heads. Just found the rules for it Teh Rules. Purple is mordheim. Will probably still use Reiklander rules. Drake- | |

| Cool!
As for the miniatures, does anyone have any of the Discworld ones? If so, could you take pictures of them along side some conventional 28mm models (GW, for example) for size comparison purposes?

| OH MAN OHMAN OMAHNOHAM! That's really cool! Not really exactly how I envision them, but pretty darn nice and I could tell who all of them were! Took some figuring on the Duckman and Greebo though. ^^ Theo | |

Joao I do not have a comparison pic, but was at the local store today, where they have some of the minis (well, most). Lady Sybil for example is pretty exactly 40mm in hight, so way too tall for most purposes.

| Hey Grimscull, thanks for the info. That's definitely a huge miniature when compared to the average 28mm models... That's really a shame, as I was looking forward to get some of these minis for my collection.
