| So a couple of situations came up tonight in our Treasure Hunt match and I was hoping to get some thoughts on the rules here. The situation was setup that my Beastman Shaman used Wings of Darkness to teleport himself to the top floor of the final building, meaning he found the treasure chest. So now the first questions are...
1. If you have a spell that allows you to teleport like that, can you do it with the chest? 2. If you can is it at half the normal distance? So a spell like Wings with a 12" range would drop to 6?
So before that really became an issue he was sniped and killed by a single shot. After that I had two other units scale the wall because we realized that no ladders had ever been placed in that building so the only way up to the third floor where the treasure chest now sat was by climbing. So now that I had two guys up there the following questions came up.
3. Can you climb with a chest? 4. If so is it half speed? 5. If so does that mean that warbands like dwarves with their 3 movement are screwed in this situation since they can only ever climb 1.5" and the floors are 2.5-3"? 6. Is it possible for two units to climb down simultaneously so they can move full speed? 7. If so, how would you resolve the rolls?
We ended up just saying that one guy could climb down with it but he had to climb at half speed. Just curious to hear other thoughts.

| You cannot teleport with the chest (or the lost prince, or another member of your warband, etc.).
I think the time the climb question came up for us, we just figured the climber shoved it over the side and then climbed down after it. Thus he climbed down as normal.

| We played the same way when playing the Raven baracks scenario and trying to get the crates off the fortress walls. Watch out below!! | |

| First I am curious why the shaman had to teleport to the top floor of the building to find the chest?
In our games that might be necessary because we play that scenario with counters that must be moved on to and revealed to be dummies or the treasure, but was it a case of the last building will automatically have the treasure?
Otherwise we play as mweaver and smokezombie.

| Yeah, it was the last building to be searched and he teleported up there for safety as the Dwarves were closing in on the ground floor. The counters might be a good idea for future efforts though. | |

| Dwarfs would not be screwed under those circumstances because they can jump down. *Climbing* down is limited by your move, but jumping down is not. Dwarfs would not be able to climb *up* with the chest so in that sense they would be screwed, but I have no problem with that - they are just too stumpy to properly get a chest up without ropes and pulleys and so forth.
Granted, they are probably going to land on their heads, but they are T4, possibly T5 and only go out on a 6 anyway.

| My dwarves are kinda like anti-cats: they always land on their heads. | |

True but as recent campaing proved taking a dwarf with a helemt and thick skull out of action can be quite hard.
