| Im just happy that nobody at GW made an official list for them allowing them to bring a Treeman to Mordheim ... (I hope thats not one of YOUR models? ...because then u just did it again ...shamed me and making me want to crawl into a pit never to paint another figure ) | |

| Wood elves... i never playedd against them, and never thougt about playing them, but I think the "new" models from GW look cool, but most of the armies I saw were painted badly, if painted. | |

| @ Boehm: LOOOL! No, no, this is NOT one of my figures, I found that pic on the web... I love the way you put your sentence though: "...because then you just did it again..." and "...crawl into a pit...". I laughed so hard, my coffee almost came out of my nose I used to play woodleves back in WH 5th edition. I won....once. That's it. The models were ugly too, but man I loved the idea of those rangers/scouts and the Treemen. Now that GW has brought out such beautiful models I must admit it is VERY hard for me to resist... enven though I do not play Warhammer anymore. Imo, they are among the coolest models in the actual Warhammer range (along with Beastmen and the stunningly beautiful Bretonnians). | |

| Wood elves where always on my list, but since there is no official list of bringing them to Mordheim, i can't play them in Mordheim. Btw, I bought a Dwarf Cannon and it is a very cool model i think! | |

| I used to play Wood Elves in WHFB a while back, and have to say that I was drawn to them for the same reasons as you, Tom... I love the idea of the scouts, hiding-out, using camouflage, sneaking around amidst the undergrowth...
I also used to play Empire, and we used to team-up to play battles with 2-armies against 2-armies... my Imperial Force, and a friend's Wood Elves against an Orc force, and a LIzardmen guard... it was always a close fight, and was great fun to see how the forces could work together....
The new miniature range is gorgeous! and the first time I saw the initial ideas, I began drooling... but for now, I have a long list of projects within the Mordheim world, and I'm trying my best not to let the list get longer...

| My Friend who first got me into Mordheim, loved Elves (I'm not sure if it was woodelves or others) When Mordheim first came out he used elven models and used the reiklander rules... with some improvements of course =) So even before the unofficial rules came out (if they did?) he had an elven shooty warband. Good fun. Just cause you made me think about it, I will mention this hilarious moment in my Mordheim Memory: So my friend's elven archer wants to jump down 2 inches from his sniping perch. He needs anything but a 6 to land it: he gets a 6. Nutz... He rolls, and get's 1 st2 hit. He needs anything but a 6 to not be wounded: he gets a 6. then he rolls a 6 on the wound chart... and he get's put out of action... HAHAH Of all the times to get 6's... 3 in a row... The Dexterous, light-on-his-feet Elven Archer falls two inches to his death.... That archer ended up dieing after the battle... Enjoy, | |

Haha, talk about bad luck! I imagine the Reiklander captain walking up to the poor agonising elf: "You're fired!" _________________ | |
