Just some questions:
What is WIP?
I play dwarfs can i get warhounds?
Will Orion's hounds be ok?
Good way to stay focused while painting?
Should I use axes or maces?

WIP=Work In Progress
Warhounds are equipment for other Warbands than Witch Hunters. Dwarves can buy them too.
If the Scale for Orion’s Hounds are close, go ahead.
Painting depends on the individual.
Axes are good against armor users. Maces are good for better wounding, generally.

Shadowphxpretty much answered them, but I'll throw my opinion in anyway Smile

Painting - if I'm enjoying the models I find I just focus anyway; if I don't like them so much, then I find music through headphones to block out other possible distractions helps!

Axes vs Maces? The answer to this, like everything else is, which looks cooler for the model! Wink

I find that playing spurs on my painting. Also, it helps to have inspirational music!

I tend to use a mix of swords, axes and maces.

We use all three but generally maces are used the most and swords are used the least. This is mainly due to cost. Maces are very cheap with a good special rule. We have a house rule to buff Armour raising the usefulness of axes. Swords are also used buy mainly by warriors with lower WS.

Don't know of the top of my head. They are in the price chart from the core rulebook though (I think something like 25 + 2D6 gc).

As for painting advise I found good music (which varies for everyone) helps me focus as well. I have hearing problems so I will focus on any sound i hear in order to try to make out what it is, which is very distracting. I tend to have some crazy playlists though. (I've had Nightwish, followed by Swing, followed by Phantom of the Opera, followed by Flock of Seagulls) geek
